My biggest regret in life is not buying an HR when I was leaving the startup I was working for at 32. I had a friend signed up and we were going to spend a year going around the world on a 46. Just thought I shouldn't take a couple of years off from work. Lesson learned. Now it's time to do it when I get done with the one I am at now. This boat is a solid cruiser and I prefer this to the newer boats for safety. Good on you guys, keep it going. I love how you set up the boat and keep track of everything.

Great boat but I think you missed the best feature; the electric jib furled. There is one of these in my harbor and I often think of asking the owner if he would like to sell. Cheers.
Really nice sailboat! We have so much wanted to see a couple sailing a nice Hallberg and hopefully doing a circumnavigation. Not sure why, but there really aren't many HR channels sailing on youtube. Sure looks like a perfect long distance cruising sailboat! Our dream is to do that Inside Passage to Alaska in a HR.

Previous owners of our boat did that passage southbound right before selling the boat to us.
