    This car will definitely be a good challenge for gen 6

      That’s the plan. play around and hang w them for a couple years as I work toward a true turbo setup on the side.

      Challenge for a gen 6?? This car would destroy a stock gen 6 no problem. This car is making around 550hp at the crank and weights a lot less than a 6th gen

      @deeznutzz101 stock for stock a 6th gen should walk it if both drivers are experienced. I run 5 to 6 mph faster in the 1/4 then 14 ss in my cammed m6 98 z28.

    • @6spdinc
      @6spdinc  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@bnrz28 Mainly reliability. I just don’t have the time to fool w a turbo setup. Life is too busy, I just wanted a turn the key and go setup for now. Second, the LS1 really isn’t a good FI platform. After 500hp you’re on borrowed time. Maybe down the road I’ll build a good forged motor and then venture into boost, plus my heads and intake will be able to swap over as well. Not much waste.

    Are you running pump 91 / 93? I am looking at nearly the exact same setup, but TEA 243 stage 2.5 heads, also going to 63cc. I calculated our static CR would be 11.19:1 and dynamic CR as 8.34:1, which sounds like it should be fine for pump gas.

      If these are the trick flow genX fully CNC potted heads they flow for CFM that the as cast 220s and 225s. The gen ven X fully CNC heads with the BTR stage 4 gen 3 N/A cam with a fast 102/102 TB combo will make 600 flywheel HP at 6500-7000rpm and will still make plenty of TQ to be daily driveable with a manual trans and 3.73-410 gears. Even with a 10% drive train loss it would be a 540rwhp combo. I'm searching more cams but I already wrote the cam file for the BTR stage 4 gen 3 cam and the genx 215s CNC heads and it makes a hair over 600 flywheel HP and make 520ftlbs between 5000-5500rpm and still makes over 220hp and over 400 ftlbs at 3000rpm. His intake is restricting him or hes not running the fully CNC ported and polished genx 215cc heads. I know what the combo listed can do because I'm looking to run the 215 genx cnc heads and a fast 102/102 set up once I decided exactly what cam I'm going to run. I've looked at the stage 3 and stage 4 came but I have a feeling theres a better offering out there that will be more streetable and still make as much or more power. My car is a 2002 WS6 TransAm 6 speed with 78k miles on it.

    You running stock compression pistons? I have reworked 2.5 prc heads and stage 3 polluter cam for when the motor gets pulled and ported fast 92 and NW 92mm tb.

    • @6spdinc
      @6spdinc  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The pistons are still stock, not butterflied or modified in anyway. Meaning there’s PVC between the heads (valves) and cam. The heads are milled if I remember to 63cc and I ran a thinner cometic head gasket so engine compression is certainly bumped up higher than stock. Hope that answers your question.
