- Dan and Chelle head out from their stay in Vancouver and catch the ferry down to Victoria, British Columbia!! The ferry is an excellent way to get from city to city, as well as take in some amazing sights of the Canadian coastline! Once in Victoria they take a visit to Fisherman's Wharf and are blown away by the tiny floating houses in a floating neighborhood! They are the cutest tiny homes all tied off to multiple docks forming an entire neighborhood. They talk to some of the residents and get a feel for the tiny home living these people have come to love!

When we visited Victoria, we did almost everything to do on the Saanich peninsula. I love flowers and their beauty.. so BUTCHART GARDENS is absolutely amazing. Admission to the grounds is only $3.5o CDN
you need to get more Canadian snacks. LOL Coffee Crisp, Ketchup chips, all dressed chips, etc.

(just realised you probably watched them all already...oh well...maybe not lol)
DanandChelle, you made my heart sing!!! I haven't been on the ferry to Victoria in years! Victoria is GORGEOUS and that big hotel was The Empress when I was there...be still my heart. You have to go see it..and their gardens. The vlogging, photography and editing is fabulous, just fabulous!! ❤ Hey Chelle, give those Canadian geese some of your goldfish..😄!

Loved all the different brilliant colors of the buildings at fisherman’s wharf! I also loved the timing of the ship horn when you mentioned cruise port being nearby.

The view from your hotel room is incredible what a find, well done. I watched a programme about the building of one of those dock houses and when it was finished they had to float it all the way from the builders to the dock and then secure it. Amazing that you are there looking at them xx
Go whale watching!!! Its a good time of year. Amazing beautiful creatures come nice and close to show off. Butchart gardens are a absolute must see as well. A photographers dream 💕

Been there, done that, loved it! The first time we went to Victoria, my parents lived in Sequim, WA and drove us over to Port Angeles where we walked on the ferry. We had no hotel reservations, but it was March, so we weren't too worried about finding some place to sleep. We had to walk up a few blocks from the Empress Hotel and found an inexpensive, but clean & comfortable hotel, then spent our money doing things around the area. We went to the museum and they told us we could come back the next day and get in free, so instead, we walked around Craigdarroch Castle which we both really enjoyed. The museum was great the next day, too! Well worth the time.
I love marinas and LOVE fishing boats and any old boat I can find, so loved seeing those in this video, plus all the float homes!

There is one home on Fisheran's Wharf that is set up as a bed & breakfast that you can stay in. Its gorgeos. Ive never stayed as i live only a couple blocks away, but have seen the inside.
If you get a chance go to bulk barn. Winco in the US is one of the only stores that I've seen that has anything even similar, but on a MUCH smaller scale.

Victoria is beautiful. My daughter was stationed at the Navy Base nearby. Visited a few times. The whale watching is a fun excursion! Lots to do and see. The museum is a must!!

I love your vlogs and you being there brings a tear to my eye. My late husband and I honeymooned there long ago in 1962! We debated hard on staying at the Empress because it was so expensive in those pre- credit card days. It was $19 per night!! We stayed, but had to leave early because we were running out of money!
I was there last year !!! It was one of my stops on a cruise to Alaska

I commented on your insta before you left about how I was recently in Victoria, so I am LOVING this vlog. I bought a GoPro this summer and brought it with me and took just a few clips and photos while in Victoria.

I’m loving all your photos and vlogs in Canada! I’ve only been once for a mission trip that was only 2 weeks in Alberta! But it was an awesome experience. Me and my sisters contemplated moving to Canada but decided not too since our parents wouldn’t be happy if we moved across the border lol
Yay! The umbrella is fixed. Dan's engineering degree finally paid off! Lol 😂 I wish I had realized y'all were going to Victoria. It is truly beautiful. Our tour guide told us that when it snows in Victoria, everything shuts down just like it does in Alabama. They don't have enough snowfall to justify the expenses of snow plows.

A friend of mine is on one of those cruise ships 🛳 she left out of Seattle this week. You can find OHenry candy in the states and I have gotten the mango sour patch at the dollar store. They aee my fav!
My favourite Candy we have here in Canada are smarties these are NOT the same as your USA smarties we have those too we cal them rockets. Our smarties are chocolate and you should try them they’re soo good 😍
You can totally get an Oh Henry in the US, they just aren't carried everywhere, kind of like 5th Avenue Bars
