I've been a rustage fan for over 2 yrs and this got to me because all of his music is amazing he needs to take a break if he doesn't he will feel worse
Strangely enough, I know someone who was in a similar situation, only he wrote short stories online. He wasn't happy with his work and became worried by people's expectations, doing stuff to make them happy. As you can imagine, that made things worse. He eventually was told to focus on stuff he enjoyed with writing, and was also essentially told to not give, and I quote, a 'Flying Feathered messed up F**k' over what others thought, especially since a fair number were mean. He's happier now and now writing for himself instead of others. His writing quality went up a bit after too, so more benefits to letting go of the stress.
If you catch his streams, he’s talked about and hinted to a lot of this before. Often when listening to another nerdcore artist trying something new. It can be hard to see the good in ones own work.
