When you do these are you putting the jack on the engine? Or just lifting the car up for comfort

You put the jack under the engine to support it when you remove the mount that is usually holding the engine So it doesn’t fall then once the new mount is in and tightened then you can move the jack to the next area. Best to have a piece of wood between the jack and the engine to reduce the chance of damage.

Just a heads up. JBR mounts tend to fail. Damond is the way to go.

No! Don’t put jack stands under the engine. You can put them on the pinch welds for working room but just use a jack and a piece of wood under the engine

For anyone wondering, there’s probably no threads in the aluminium mount because ALUMINIUM IS A POOR CONDUCTOR; don’t do what these guys did
