i REALLY love these podcasts man, the one with BA was so fucking dope. what i really love about it is that the interviewer doesn't make himself as the centerpiece but just lets the guest speak, its wonderful.
The flow on effect to impressionable youth is real! I've experienced and seen it first hand. Early 2000's PD era massively influenced my friends and I to start drinking heavily and often, they were our idols and it seemed like skating and drinking went hand in hand. I personally don't think I would ever have seen it in that light had I not watched those skate vids as nothing else I've come across or been interested in glorified it like that. Struggled with it for years, and know people I grew up with who still are.
Alcohol will be the end of you if you let it. I've definitely had my experiences with it. It's nice to hear what others have gone through. Boredom and anxiety mostly drove my desire to drink. Anyway, I enjoyed this. Aaron seems like a solid dude. Great skater.
Who's the 10 year old podcaster. I am 52. Skated with Gonz, Muzikant, Fortune, Matt Beach, (zorlac) Natas, Red. Guys skateboarding is not a career. Once 25, your next competition is a 13 year old doing everything switch, faster and smoother. Enjoy skateboarding for the passion. Most pros with sponsorships make less than minimum wage. Seek a life. Your time is limited.
@@Cream-and-Chigurh This interview is good and he's a cool dude sounds like he's searching for positive purpose outside of skating and or alcohol I don't care if someone drinks sober or smokes crack enjoy yourself just suggesting Jesus helped me get off fentanyl and live a happy life I loved drinking and doing drugs but now I just enjoy life clean living in the moment I take alot from what he said too I was just reaching out I get it prolly sounds gay to you I used to think the same way so I don't blame you God Bless

BJJ gave my life structure and I built my life around that schedule.
So giving bjs gave your life structure? That’s wild dude
@@Cream-and-Chigurh this dude would absolutely demolish you irl and everyone in this thread knows it.
@@palestalemale8831 bro he literally sets a schedule around blowing dudes. Like he puts that shit on his calendar
@@palestalemale8831 he literally said he built his life around bj, he puts that shit on his calendar and daily planner, I think I’m fine
@@palestalemale8831sounds like your BJj skills are greater 😆
Yeah, that can totally give you a reason to self medicate. Especially, the flying and not having a traditional job.
What happened to the angel and Z thing? I recognized the background right away but I was like oh shit new name
Good call. Interesting
Find a hobby brah
Are you allowed to rock climb being a professional skater? What about insurance?
Rock climbing is way safer than skateboarding by a country mile.
