Making its debut in 1934 as part of a musical titled: Revenge with Music, this lovely song carried its weight and had a resurgence in popularity during the 1940s and 1950s. The show it stems from was considered a failure by many; this song managed to carry its way through and become an instant classic as the years progressed. I now present the first ever known recording of Frank attempting this beautiful piece accompanied by Axel Stordahl & Company and The Pied Pipers.
