Yep, always the simple things in life. Glad you got it to work. One thing that would bother me is the location of the cap under the strut bar. Yeah, I know a PITA, but I'd modify that bar. I did just that when putting the Coyote in my SN95, even had it re-powdercoated after the tig weld. Also, those ground activated brake switches can be a menace if you try to keep them too tight, as you well found out.
Yes sir the simple thing is always a place to start from first when something is not working as it should mechanically. The soft sponge brake really send me into a rabbit hole. I am glad I was able to bench bleed the hydroboost and the entire line getting rid of all the air and getting a stiff hard brake pedal.
On my car I had bad master cylinder and I fixed it and also I gutted the stock P valve and run a wilwood unit on my gen3 10r80 fox swap GEN3YOT my cars done finally and just got lund tune and it rips
