"Mimir of the Bifrost Teats", I genuinely laughed at this moment. Wasn't expecting this at all when I played. GoW is just so grim most of the time, this comic relief was welcome. When I sailed on this tiny boat with Boy and Mimir, I'd always wait for him to finish his stories before docking.

  • @JohnSmith-yh6yl

Mimir, in the god of war lore, is a fae from Celtic mythology and changed his name when he got to Midgard. He was a "jester" to a "king". It's actually an incredibly deep character arc and he seems to have a lot of potential in the future of the series

I'm taking a note of this! I couldn't find anything about his identity pre-god of war and didn't feel confident enough to make assumptions and tie him to other mythology, but between his accent and the bit of his backstory we know him being a Celtic god would make sense!

Something popped into my head this morning. Not sure if it really is a nursery rhyme or where it came from but "Its It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring..."
Been storming all week down here and I started singing that when I looked out the window preparing myself mentally for the task of taking children to school in this chaos and it hit me that I havent seen that one on here yet.
I dont think I have watched all the videos here, but I have come close.
So anyways, sorry, not really relevent to video above but wanted to say it before I forgot. There is another one that starts with, "rain rain, go away, come again some other day,...." but the only version I remember was a mockery version that we did as kids. Akin to "trick or treat, smell my feet,".
Normally I would Google when I have questions or curiosity but that would spoil the fun.
