Just got this plane today, great buy, super fun. Btw you can turn off the animated fighter pilot by clicking down by where a 'center stick' would be, between his legs. It's a cool animation from exterior view but interior he blocks some things...

One thing I think that should be mentioned is you need to be below 60% fuel to be able to hover with VTOL. Otherwise the hover button won't work. Other than that, thanks for the video :)

Are the flight control surfaces seem laggy? They seem super choppy and nowhere near as smooth as the other aircraft. Is that normal?
Its been a while since Ive flown the fighter but I cant recall of laggy issues. But Ill look into it

When I click the vtol switch, hover blinks then back to normal mode. Using B variant and weight less than 40k. Ideas?
If you're already flying and switching to VTOL the jet needs to be below a certain airspeed now the exact airspeed I don't know off the top of my head

But even taking off can be done by vtol no? So even when i m on the ground it is not switching, when i click it flickers on the screen then back to normal mode

Yes i agree, the switch on the left (same hook switch on the A variant) but when i click it the mode switch for a fraction of a second then back to normal mode, that is my issue also i tried while flying below speed 200 same problem

When I hover land I can't shut down the engines. 80%+ power you push the stovl and your gone pking brake or not. Cant disengage the throttle, to shut down when I hover land. Any idea's
Make sure to shut off the SVTOL bring the aircraft back to normal operations then go through the shut down... its been a minute since I've flown the F-35 but I know the SVTOL needs to be off
@@StevesSimStation As soon as u push the svtol button, turn it it a rocket ship gone. the throttles dont shut off and the thrusters start rising at 80%+ power. Sometimes as soon as the wheels hit the ground the thrusters start going back but the throttles are at 80%+. Your gone. Also the fuel shut off button goes missing so u can't shut the fuel off just before the wheels touch.

Console is limited. It’s rough but if I’m not mistaken it was a limitation they knew would have to be there in order for the jet to come to console.
