    Great Review Bro! This is a one of nice small crossover. The 21 model gets the 2.5T in a few months so that should be fun to drive.

    This is one of the best reviews I've seen of my car and believe me I've watched hundreds of them, even in languages I don't understand. This video has done the best job so far of presenting all the features with great accompanying camera shots in a very efficient manner. Great job, sir!
    Personally, I don't notice the cladding. I'm more drawn to the overall shape of the car when I look at it. There's been photoshops of it with body-colored cladding and it makes the overall design look much worse.

    Another great job Chris! I'm with you on the cars...if I was going to get a crossover from Mazda it would be the CX-5. I will say however that the CX-3 and CX-30 are fine examples of their vehicle types.

    • @AutoAcademics
      @AutoAcademics  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah. There's truly nothing wrong with the CX-30. As you saw, there's a lot to like and crossovers do a lot of what most people want or need. In fact, these smaller Mazdas drive more like cars than most other crossovers do. I just appreciate how Mazda's cars drive more. LOL Thanks for watching, Carlo Garcia!

    I love your professional, articulate & humorous videos💗 I'm trying to decide whether I should buy a buick gx, mazda cx-5 or this baby. I'm trading in my Nissan Altima.

    • @AutoAcademics
      @AutoAcademics  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thank you, Gerri Miller. We truly appreciate your comments. The Buick may be slightly more comfortable, in a cushy kind of way, whereas the Mazdas will be more engaging to drive. The primary differences between the CX-5 and CX-30 are the size and the CX-30 has a newer (read: better?) infotainment system. They'll be updating that system on the CX-5 next year, though. We reviewed the CX-5 recently, so check that out if you haven't yet. We also recommend you see any of the vehicles in person that you're interested in, to see which one speaks to you the most. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

    I think it comes down to personal preference, did a test drive on both the CX-30 and the hatchback and ended up buying the CX-30 because I loved the height and felt that drove better. Also, the cx30 unlike the hatch comes with a power liftgate, I also got the turbo GT in the sole red which came with the gloss black rims. Absolutely beautiful SUV that offers more than the hatchback.

    I really like this car, but I think the CX-3 needs to go. Mazda needs a bigger, mainstream SUV atop the CX-9 (which isn't all that big). I want Mazda to survive because they're awesome, and we need more awesome. Great review!

    Test drove it. You're so right about the mirrors, they seemed 'off' to me. What I absolutely disliked is that the dealer had them for 2 days yet had scratches all over the top coats. Very noticeable in the sun. Mazda should improve paint considering the their price as I'd heard comments like this from owners too even that paint has peeled in just over a year. Really was hoping for this one, but had to pass. Did you like info display? Seems like they sunk it into the dash. Fine if you're tall, but not if short.

    • @AutoAcademics

      The new infotainment unit is much better than the previous one. Chris is about 5'8 or 5'9 and he didn't have any trouble seeing it clearly, if that helps. Thanks for watching, Lee G!

    We're in the market for a car. We're interested in a Mazda 2020 CX-30 premium, but have read mixed reviews. Some say this car has a good ride, some say not so much. I want a comfortable car, with a smooth, quiet ride.
    We've also looked into Nissan Murano.
    So much to consider!

    • @AutoAcademics
      @AutoAcademics  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, Missy Asche 881! The Mazda CX-30 is a great driving car if you like a sporty feel. However, that means there will be a bit more firmness in the ride quality. If you don't care for sportiness, something like a Murano (which is slightly larger) or another crossover might suit you better. The only way to know for sure is to try them for yourself. I personally like the way the CX-30 drives better than a Murano, but I like sporty vehicles. Other people may feel differently, though. Good luck, happy shopping and thanks for watching!

    I loved this car. I tested it and it felt good. But there are two flaws; one there's way too much plastic on the wheel housing. And second: Mazda have very weak a/c. I had the same issue in the normal 3 I tested. Toyota's a/c's are WAY better.

    The latest Mazda3 Hunchback...err Hatchback looks horrible The CX-30 at least looks pretty decent, cheap thick black plastic notwithstanding. The CX-3 won't be around much longer in the USA. Mazda has already reduced it to one cheap-looking bare-bones, budget trim option only.
