You're allowed to steer into a corner. Everyone is overemphasising what Max did and downplaying what Lando did. All the drivers on the grid would have defended exactly like Max did. Sainz did exactly the same to Max at that very corner a couple years ago.

@@absolutentity don’t think the point is that he didn’t make it stick. max is known for dive bombing other drivers in a you yield or we crash mentality which is no good in modern F1.
@@SamWalker-vp9fj yes but it's still part of racing ain't it. It's a tool every driver uses and some does it often more, not justifying Max elbows out move..but somehow he has made it his signature move, which is very tricky if you ask me.
@@absolutentity I mean in this race max moved under braking which isn’t allowed so gets a penalty but my point is he’s been doing these wreckless dive bombs for years and suddenly he’s saying that’s not how you race when someone does it to him. Max just doesn’t like having the things he does to other people done to him. If people say maxs moves are fine then he can’t complain when it’s someone else doing it to him

Just because it didn’t stick for lando doesn’t mean lando cant divebomb on the inside anymore 😂. Max saying “it’s not how you overtake” is fucking hilarious since 2021 is a championship he won by constantly doing the same fucking thing. So if it’s “not how you overtake” then he didn’t win the 2021 championship.
