McLaren cost Oscar a chance for pole in Q1 when they pitted him for a new set of inters. He was comfortably through and could have saved that set to have a go for pole in Q3.

Lewis is a stand-up guy, a master at work and truly the GOAT of the sport. MB really need to reflect on this. I doubt the ill intent was as bad as some might suggest, but it it doesn't look good.

Unless there's a points target in his contract, claims VCARB are screwing up strategy to give him results that make him look bad are baseless. Firstly, they're still fighting in the Constructors Championship, and there's a LOT of money in that. Plus every team will know how he performs with the tools he has, including strategy and those car up, sorry, downgrades. And just in case anyone might not have got the point, he's starting to voice his annoyance openly. Then look what happened when Villeneuve and Marko dropped some needle earlier. Will he drive in 25? I don't know. Unlike the debacle at McLaren, he's angry and he's come out swinging. There's a bit of Honey Badger starting to come out- finally. Additionally Lawson's RBR test was about .2 under his marks and he underwhelmed. Notice how that chatter about him has gone quieter, and Horner's inserted Hadjar into the chat? But when I saw DR3 pit the lap after the soft runners did, I knew someone in strategy on the wall had totally screwed up. They gave up every advantage he gained by holding on to the softs ahead of him. That would have been a fiery debrief- I reckon he would have borrowed a few words from Yuki's and Max's dictionaries

The agreement must have been whoever got to T1 first was going to be the first across the line in a 1-2 situation. The "we're not trying to undercut" message after the first pit stop meant he wasn't really free to race at all.

Thx for the upload. I've been meaning to listen to Oscar's team radio, because we mostly got to hear lando's on the tv feed, so it was a very one-sided testimonial. Definitely sounds like oscar did as he was told by managing his tyres, but there was also some miscommunication on lando's team's part, because they made it sound like he was gonna have to let oscar win, and not only pass, which would have been unfair. There was no reason to manage their tyres as well. They were both on fresher rubber than hamilton, and hamilton was battling it out for p3 with verstappen and charles. Lando could have also handled the situation better though. He could have been smarter and let oscar through, then fight for p1 till the end and disregard the tyre management orders from his team. That would have been such a beautiful finish as well, regardless of who'd ultimately win tbh.

Also, I noticed Hamilton has never had a filter (noise deadening) on his mics, maybe to save like 10 gm of weight, this has been going on for very long.

Judging after only listening to one of Aonso's races, It sounds like Lewis only has the capacity for super-short sentences.

I am shocked by how detailed their conversation was. Can other drivers chat this much in a wet race? or is it true that Alonso has automated race driving so much that he can empty a big part of his brain for other things? I'll navigate this channel to learn more about other drivers. In my situation, I only let my race engineer talk in the long straights.
