Nearly every pic was better with the S10 plus.
But if you watched the video, then it's not.
Nadine S. The issue is that both displays are not identical. Although apples is made by Samsung, apples display is more true to life colors. Samsung is more punchy vivid colors. Not even a test sorry. MAJOR FAIL.

I suggest you stick with iphone...i changed from iphome x to s10 and regretting it due to camera... iphone cameras colors are far better and realistic

@chuqell RAW images can be edited to extreme extents, just go to pro mode and click
Bernard download any app with Raw comparability. I recommend Halide or Lightroom.

The Galaxy S10+ is better than iPhone Xs Max. The quality is amazing. In pictures is wonderful and in video is the best. The capture of microfone is excellent and the quality of image is incredible.

No, some people buy iPhones because they are a part of the apple ecosystem which all work together very smoothly and people don't often want to leave it. Plus their are other reasons to buy iPhones, slow depreciation and retains good value for longer, excellent video and pictures, which, as said in the video, is often raw, and also great speed

Thanks for this awesome review! Trying to decide between this one and the newest S20. I really appreciate you showing more shots of yourself versus just objects, etc. Especially since I will be using my phone more for portraits and selfies. I also really liked seeing the images in low light examples outdoor. However, it would be great to see more indoor photos in low light :)

In the past, S9+ was capturing yellowish photos especially in low light scenerios and we all blamed samsung much. But today, S10 takes more accurate color compared to IPhone's greeny and a little bit yellowy photos. However, S10+ applying beauty effect although you closed the beauty mode. Overall, sharpness, color, wide angle, contrast in dark areas,brightness etc , pro mode advantage are powerful sides of S10+; low light is unquestionable furtermore.
A bit consistent bokeh, more consistent video exprience are featured sides of XS Max.
So S10 is better photo phone in my opinion.
I don't know what you prefer about the video on the XS Max. That front camera video stabilisation was absolutely awful compared to the one on the S10+ for instance.

Well something most reciewers seem to ignore, galaxy devices offer RAW images, activte pro mode then go to picture resolution and Save raw images....

Kornelio Bellamy iPhone has horrible dynamic range, it also seems to oversaturate colours in the wrong places completely ruining the picture, s10+ is so much better

I was wondering about the smoothing that she was talking about too... I kinder just figured that my phone screen wasn't good enough to playback those alleged smoothing. In addition, I saw a pic that was reversed where the s10+ looked more like how the max pictures usually turns out and she didn't give it the same comments as she would when it was the xs max.
Ultimately people cannot defy being bias even when they have the best intent. In some ways it boils down to personal preference.
@@Notyelfox agreed. Her skin in both photos look the same... identical. If there is a wrinkle in the iPhone on her face, it showed it on the S10. I think when you get in the habit of saying something for so long, you tend to keep saying it even though it isnt true.
there is a little bit of smoothing even if you turn it off( i have an s10 plus). but it's a personal preference tho
If you don't like the beautifying thing on the s10+, you can turn it off xD
And the s10+ tends to over-expose pics sometimes, bringing the brightness bar down a little does magical things.

IPhone has no 4k front video and it doesn't have super stability but the 10+ does have 4k front video and super stability, its the best clogging phone right now

Galaxy s10 camera got much better now by this date after some updates now u have dedicated night mode and overall with wide angle camera its the clear winner

Krystal, your videos are awesome. You should do more 2 comparisons with the phones, one looking how reacts at high light exposures (like in concerts, because always that I try to film some concert that I went or even do stories in Instagram with my Samsung phones it was very bad), and how the Social media reacts to those pictures | cameras. Even that the Samsung devices are very good when we upload those pictures on Instagram or Facebook, the quality became very different, which is one point that are making me buy one Iphone device now. Thank you very much :)

Samsung all the way! I love my s10+💯 most iphone users prefer good natural look(build design) over quality. But yeah everybody has different preferences🤷♂️.

That S 10+ IS EVERYTHING
I never usually comment on TH-cam videos but as much as I loved the video, there is no real comparison here. The photos were not taken at the exact same angle and they different in the composition of the photos. Colors will be different depending on the location and placement of light.

Great video Lora as usual. I'm quite surprised by the S10+ outperforming the XS Max in most categories. I've watched more than 1 comparisons and I think yours was the 1st to have it either equal or even outperform the iPhone. Well done Lora.
