This house reminds me of my cousins home. She was single, no kids and died unexpectedly. As her next of kin, I was responsible for disposing of her estate. I was working full time and had limited time and knowledge to do an estate sale. I just wish I had found a reliable seller such as you.

Hello George. greeting from snowy Tennessee. On the table at 13:23 where you talk about the Russian egg carving, there is a black round Earth paperweight with the relief continents in gold . In case you you hadn't seen this piece before it is by Santa Monica glass artist Steven Corveia. Steven established a glass studio there in 1973 with Algernine Coveia as chief designer and head of operations, their brother Jeffrey was also an artist. His work cam bring some decent money and this Earth piece, which I also have, is on display in the White House as a part of their collection of American arts and artists.

That is terrific info! I didn’t know that artist, I’m more familiar with the northwest studios

Hi George! It was nice to see the game table opened. I like that piece. That Limoges dresser set was a nice one. There were some mirrors on that dresser that looked like they would be good to display some nice porcelain on them. I liked that simple, clear glass kerosene lamp. I'd likely buy that 1940's Milk and Cream truck. Like that! Love that tapestry! I just got an Italian one, (came from England), for Mother. Dang!!! You found a treasure trove in that dresser drawer!!! I have to say, I don't envy you dealing with all that, but it would be fun to shop it...after you've done all the work😂 Thanks for the tour!!!

I am a big fan of game tables, such utility and use and a way to put a handsome antique furniture piece in a small space! They don't seem to sell well in Floirda, however. Yes to the milk and cream truck too! I didn't realize your mom liked Italian tapestries, I'll see if I can find anything good quality. The dresser drawer really made the sale pop and all the work felt worthwhile in the end!

People already have enough of their own collectibles and dust catchers without accumulating someone else’s lifetime collections that they have zero interest in.
Love and loyalty and overwhelming clutter are frequently part of the same picture.
How often have I heard other people moan about their mom’s collections that they inherited, but have no space to display or store it in, and now they’re drowning in clutter that they can’t let go of because of familial GUILT, OBLIGATION and DUTY to carry the torch of clutter into the next generation because they are the eldest child.
When people die, we do not have to keep their stuff because it belonged to them. We have our memories and that is what is worth honoring, not STUFF!! Let it go!!
