Ratchet & Clank really sold me with the adaptive triggers. Now whenever I play an older game that don't make use of the triggers it doesn't feel right. The resistance and feelings of using different weapons in Ratchet and Clank was absolutely incredible.
I was pretty disappointed with rift apart I beat it on hardest difficulty and it was only like a 12 hour game not really worth the 125 aud price tag that I paid I say this everytine but no more new games till bunch of reviews

It’s game changing. You can feel that the experience of playing is in another age. And I’m not talking about frames, teraflops and pixels. It’s really about experience and the way you deepen in the game.

@@MrVariant never really crashed on me only played for a few hours tho but also the other night I was on warframe boutta get on gta with my friend an backed outta warframe then my PlayStation just froze but u could still see the lines blinking so it was still there just couldn’t move or go to the ps home I had to press the power boutton an it still didn’t turn off so I held it for 20 sec an when it came back on ut said it was turned off wrong
I have been enjoying this controller but it is very fragile. I play a few hours a week and the springs in the r2 feel loose and the analog sticks might have some drift already. It's a shame
@airyshark324 in settings it says and I noticed when I have the controller microphone on, it reduces haptics and triggers to weak. I just played Kena and it was kinda lame having adaptics for each swing Kena does, like a type of input lag.

Anyone can get a PS5 if they are patient, dedicated, and smart enough. If people spent as much time actually trying to get a console as they did complaining, you all would have them by now. The key is to follow some PS5 Stock Update Twitter accounts and put your info into the stores you want. Then just wait for them to send out the link and then you can click on it and get the console. It might take a few tries but it’s not as impossible as you guys say it is, so stop being toxic just because you didn’t have the patience to actually try and get a console. I decided to get one in mid January and secured it a few weeks later from Best Buy using that method, so I don’t understand why everyone is so dramatic.

I have a dualsense and this ad is extremely accurate, except for the Miles part. It doesn't feel that strong and heavy since the "barrier" is just at the end of the trigger and not in the beginning
I had no idea this was a thing until I used the toy capsule machine in the pre-installed game. This is nintendo levels of creativity. Seriously hope other companies explore this, assuming Sony didn't patent the idea. ... I seriously want to play some pinball now.
I believe you can find someone in your country that is not totally a scalper and sell it to you with just a little add to the price. I bought mine for like + $40 super nice guy, everything went smoothly, we even met in the shop when he picked it up in front of me!
Yeah, I love the triggers feeling. When playing Resident Evil: Village it is quite cool to feel the differences of each of your guns triggers Pistols are a bit easier to fire, while something like a shotgun takes more force. Just the fact that they devs of these supported games took the time to include these features is amazing!
Hope there’s like an on and off option for that feature. I feel like some people wouldn’t prefer that function in their controllers. Still a very fun concept though.

Am I the only one who feels like some games don't use the adaptive triggers properly? I feel like some developers just slap the adaptive triggers on but didn't master it right. If that makes sense.

Response can be really frustrating in some games For example: If you press the L2 or R2 too fast like before the controller even registers the resistance to be put for any particular action in the game the game will regard that input as null and the player’s input will have no effect on the game it mainly happens a lot in action games ( Scarlet Nexus ) for me
Yesterday i received my PS5. Just trying astrobot and Control (psplus) i feel and now i see how is the new level of gaming Ps5 brings. Man! Wow! I can't wait for PSVR2 with this and much more. Also i cant wait for tsushima and Death strand upgrade. Carry those packages or throw kunais in an new level of sense while using an horse or walk on grass feeling it with haptic will be outstanding.
Yeah, it's brilliant when it works, totally worth the eye-watering price tag. However, what's not worth the price tag is the quality. My right adaptive trigger broke after playing Astro's Playroom. I didn't even notice because I was playing Immortals Fenyx Rising afterwards and I just thought that it did not support adaptive triggers. You can only imagine my shock when I bought a new controller just to find out that Immortals actually supports adaptive triggers but my old controller's just broke down. It was extremely disappointing. Moreover, the analog stick drift is too common. All in all, the controller is very fun but the quality needs significant improvement. It is a deal breaker for something that expensive which is supposed to be a premium product...
I have my ps5 since 5 months ago and the controller never drifted, if someone complains about their controller drifting it’s because they abused it by playing call of duty Cold War or Fortnite 20/7 remember every controller drifts it’s just depends on your play style

They actually improved the quality of the adaptive triggers with the latest iteration of the controller.

I have my ps5 since 5 months ago and the controller never drifted, if someone complains about their controller drifting it’s because they abused it by playing call of duty Cold War or Fortnite 20/7 remember every controller drifts it’s just depends on your play style

The triggers are pretty cool. Sometimes they can be annoying. The haptics are where the controller really shines.
