- This is my first actual wash of my new .2 GT3 RS. I've had it a little over a month now and I've been driving it quite a bit. For this wash and talk I wanna go over what my plans are for the car and long-term projects I'll be doing.

In my opinion, with the crazy interior painting the roll bar to the same lizard green color would be pretty sick

When you poured your slab for the wash bay, did you slant the concrete surface all towards the center of the car to a center drain? Thx

I actually dig the green stripe on the wheel and a green caliper would look great. Such a great looking car!
I would be interested in seeing this car corrected specifically to see your approach to polishing on PPF. I know you say treat it like normal but I bet a few fine points would still be observable. Good to see the new GT3!
Not having the wash bay lights on makes a difference on camera, i like it 👍🏼 can’t wait for part 2!
Hey Matt, I’m looking finally try out a ceramic coating on the daily, what are the advantages of layering csl with exo , compared to csl as a stand-alone product?
It will last longer and be more hydrophobic.
My new 2019 Cayenne is getting the entire front PPF with SunTek. What's your suggestion of protection over the PPF? Ceramic coating or just a sealer?
I would coat it. I usually use Gtechniq CSL. I'm interested in applying Halo that is designed specifically for PPF.

Hey Matt are you just using the bucket as a caddy for your cleaning tools you use on the wheels, no solution in the bucket during this stage of the wash? Thx
For wheels, yes. I don't put water/soap in that bucket.
I think the lighting looks good FYI! I like the non yellow look.
I kinda like the idea of a wash mitt over one of the microfiber wash pads, idk why but it helps me get into the edges of the car a little better and I tend to drop the pad all the time lol.
Matt why do you want to put the AWE exhaust then switch it out with the dundon? Won’t it be less costly to go directly with the dundons? Will you do only the street + plenum or also add the airbox?

Leave the wheels that it has on and/or put a custom Slimer sticker on one side, and a Stay Puft sticker on the other side. (2016 movie)

Try Optimum's TAR (tire adhesive and Rubber) remover. it does wonders on stripping tires. Follow up with PowerClean un-dilluted.

Cool video, doing up an exhaust header and 93 octane tune up fuel pump and 1000 + cc injectors along with the Supercharger scroll type on the FRS e 85 a little later. Have you considered e85 on that bad boy gt3 of yours? Why or why not?
I think as you get older, you'll find chasing horsepower less and less appealing. I just run regular fuel on this car.

Never thought to ask until now. How is the rolling resistance on the casters on your bucket cart? My driveway is on a slope and i don't want my buckets rolling away.
They will roll down a slope. I only use the dolly for my wheel bucket, but two of the wheels can be locked, so I usually just lock one and it doesn't roll.
Check out some of the older wash videos. Matt's buckets used to roll away every video when he was doing the driver's side rear quarter panel.
I assume they still roll away, but it doesn't make it into the edit.
You can set the brakes. Each dolly had 2 brakes. You can leave them on and just drag them around.
Matt, register your car at your local dealership and you should get the carbon steering wheel cover as a part of the Weisach Package. Don’t know about the hood but the steering wheel is definitely something they will give you when it comes in. Several cars here in Atlanta recently got them seems like they are hitting GT2 guys first.

What are you foaming on the wheels? Is that a dedicated wheel cleaning foam? I was thinking of buying a second foam cannon just to use for the wheels. Seems smarter to do instead of just applying iron remover and scrubbing with a wheel cleaner brush and soap bucket
Antony V it’s just wheel cleaner all of the same steps of cleaning a wheel still are necessary for the wheels to actually be clean
Clark Kastory obviously the standard steps are required but you get way more lubrications with foaming the wheels instead of a bucket with soap. What brand is the wheel cleaner/foam he’s using on the wheels?
Antony V he is using brake buster. I cant remember if he said it’s diluted or not. You can pick it up in his store. I have been using it for a while now and it’s great.

In The Details do u spray it in with a trigger bottle? Or do u dilute half half and use a foam cannon to foam it on like OG does?
That hose from the ceiling is awesome. Would love to see a video of how all that is plumbed.
It's just a 50' pressure washer hose run through a 3" PVC conduit.

Balance machines are making not needed as they determine best location for tire on wheel. Covered in your prior video.
The Video Quality is great! Looks awesome, I prefere it without the lights on.
Put some Sonax Spray and Seal or Gyeon Wetcoat on them wheels. Like coating but no polishing to remove it

Hey man, I've been watching your videos for a while now and besides the cars, I like your setup, everything is so convenient. I would put a draining channel where you wash your car though

U should go with vossen M-X3 wheels. Or the Velos VXS o2.
Willing to bet in a few months time you stop with the brake buster in foam cannon.
Btw, do you see how much of the wheel you're not hitting? Impossible to control a foam cannon with degree of precision required for this application
He's using Brake Buster as a tire cleaner as well.
Adams rubber cleaner would have cleaned those tires
@@jenduhaime for sure. plus Adam's rubber always leaves the brush clean. Did you notice that Matt's brush is black? Always happens to me when I use d143. I suppose it's because Adam's is a degreaser when these wheel + tire combos are something else.

I was big into Bronze wheels in the early 2000s. I prefer black now.

In my opinion the BBS E88 in gold with polished lip look AMAZING on the RS
Nate E88s are 19” and won’t clear ceramic brakes

Don’t do vossen wheels on the RS. We have a lava .2 RS here in Charlotte and it’s got vossen wheels, I believe the ones your were talking about, on it. It looks like a donk. Doesn’t look good at all. I would go for a BBS wheel. They look real good on the RS.

BBS would be sick. I believe Matt has said they dont have the offset hes looking for though. Maybe that was just in the case of the Z06. I'm a BBS fanboy so I'm 100% for this.

Adam's is still better, but Wowo was pretty decent. Dundon headers needs Dundon center.

They are pretty much the same as stock, so I'd keep stock over spending $12,000 on those.

I've been to their facility a couple times and I'm always amazed how much of a difference there is between companies that actually care. The attention to detail of the facility is top. Their employees and customer service are great. Let me know if you ever go check it out in PA. Would love to meet sometime, but I'm an east coast OG fan.
Why not a custom set of HRE wheels for the GT 3. they seem to be the best wheel company in the wheel world?
Meh...I'm done with them. They take forever, cost a ton, and got the offsets completely wrong on my M3.
Will there ever be another Sapphire Blue P-car in your life? Obviously availability taken account for, whether it’d be a 991.1 GTS or another 991.1 GT3 or a paint to sample car. Your vids with the sapphire blue GT3 are the best represented examples of that color that car was to die for

in the foam cannon he said he used 150ml. Fill the rest with water, i believe usually up to the 750ml mark.

Detailed the GT350 today... 3,300 miles and my wheels are literally destroyed with brake dust. Not sure anything is going to clean them...tried the Xtreme green stuff... agitated the heck out of all four... no luck... might be time for repaint... or replace😞
Are you running the factory Brembo pads? I've got a 350 as well. The brake dust is atrocious but we may just have to live with it unless you want to shell out some dough for carbon ceramics. I've also heard of some decent pads that are a little better for dust but haven't tried them.
The gloss finish on our wheels drives me crazy too. Scratch city.
350 here as well... I know your pain man... on the plus side... go fast and slam on your brakes... I’ll take that performance for some brake dust anyday

There is only one "best" color. Ha, ha... I like white and this is my ultimate car. I wouldn't want to choose my second or third color choice on this car.
Obviously you're not short on money, but why not just have those wheels redone all black rather than dump a bunch of money into wheels? I think lizard green calipers would be pretty bad ass. There's a black .2 gt3rs for sale near me done up like that. If I could swing $200k for a car, I'd be in that tomorrow! Looking forward to videos with a cool car. :D I wish AWE made that exhaust for the GT4. I sent an email asking if they would...
Shocked to see you pressure washing instead of the soft slow flow of a regular hose. Would think pressure washing was a lot harder on the paint.
It's not if done correctly. It's much more efficient.

I've heard that CSL doesn't play well with STEK film (by the way I have my 911 wrapped in STEK and its amazing for a wrap). Would be great to get your real world perspective if they can work together.
Got a good laugh about the internet exhausts... so true. Armytrix has been literally throwing exhausts at the big salvage car rebuild channels.
Hey, you can't fault them for making stuff that people want. It's just a dead giveaway when someone does one of those that they don't know what they are doing or they got one for free/deep discount.
Seems a bit unfair to suggest none of them know what they’re doing. There’s pretty decent evidence out there that there’s some decent engineering going on...Dundon aren’t the only ones who know how to make an exhaust, and Manthey wouldn’t be installing one of those brands you mentioned if they were just ‘welded shiny pipes’

Tundra Whisperer theres only one type. Its actually called P&S Break Buster. Same company that makes Beadmaker sealant.

I think those look too darn close to OE wheels. They weight pretty close to the same.
Why not just powdercoat those stock in satin black? Vossen, on a top of the line gt3 is going way backwards lol. Fast food employees with stanced kia optimum on Chinese coilovers are the usual customers of vossen.

Not hating, I’m sure their premium lineup is nice. But they rose to popularity with the stance crowd in 2011-15.
