Thank you for posting the best night of my life ❤ I’ve been listening to Buckethead for almost 12 years now, and I lived in a country far away, so seeing him live was a literal dream for me. I’m currently in the US, and when I woke up to a notification that he was playing in LA, I bought the ticket without even looking at the date, time, venue or anything, and I’ve been waiting anxiously ever since, and during the wait, the vast majority of what I listened to was Buckethead. Concert day, on the drive to LA, I had the BIGGEST smile on my face whilst stuck in two hour traffic while, of course, listening to Buckethead. During the concert I had the most surreal experience ever, I could not believe that I was witnessing my favorite artist LIVE!! and I know that nothing will ever top this special night. Thank you for posting this video, I’m sure it’ll become my most watched video ever. O yea and I had the BIGGEST smile on my face on the way home while also listening to this absolute LEGEND! ❤
The best part about filming these is comments like yours and like you, I get to relive this concert and memory over and over again like all the videos I take usually go to concerts with one of my kids or friends and I’m an old man I should say older man and I can’t go to concerts. I’ll have a nice of memories on TH-cam.
@@LiveRockMusic YES! Filming concerts can be a controversial topic, my position on it is that if you're making a sincere effort to capture the best recording possible (yours is great) with whatever you've got, and are going to upload for others to enjoy, FILM AWAY. Be as respectful as you can about not interfering with anyone else's enjoyment (turn down the screen brightness, NO FLASH, try not to obstruct any more of the view immediately behind you than absolutely necessary, and for the love of God... LANDSCAPE MODE!) but shows should be documented! You never know when something historic is going to happen, there are many many people in parts of the world or in situations that prevent them from being at a show in person, and it's fun to be able to relive these awesome experiences from time to time! Love that I found your channel, I like the format so far!
big sur moon is such an exceptional way to start the show. he is so technically talented but does not let that get in the way of putting feeling and emotion in his playing. the bucket gimmick serves to put his playing front and center which just makes it even more special. i didn't "get" this guy until i saw him live. what a special human.

I stayed in California a few extra days so that I could finally see him live after like 15 years of listening to him, and it was more than worth it! It's hard to appreciate just how good he actually is until you're standing in front of him watching him change playing styles seamlessly during he songs. All the theatrics of it really just add to the experience. I'm really happy I got to see him with the backing band too, they were really good, and I think everyone played off each other nicely. It might honestly be my favorite concert that I've been to, everything about it just made it entertaining and memorable. My only complaint would be how late it started. Standing in one place for so long was brutal on my feet and legs after such a busy week leading up to it. Someone even passed out not that far from where I was like 10 minutes before Buckethead came on. The wait was more than worth it though.

Brilliant that he ended with Jordan which is my favourite. As always, he injects a little improv into it so rarely is this song done the same twice. I suspect it’s just a spare of the moment thing with him.
I'm so sad I didn't know he toured this year until seeing this video. I saw him in 2012 and it was still the best show I've ever been to and had been waiting for so many years for him to come back and never thought it would happen and I missed the show in Philly. I really really hope he tours again next year. He truly is the GOAT
I love the wiltern show❤ I took my brothers and best friend. I expirenenced the whole show high on an edible. It was a surreal experience. It would've been perfect if my mom came along, but things happened that prevented it. I plan to take her again to see Buckethead with me. I took her to see buckethead my first time in Sacramento❤ Buckethead is such an experience it doesn't compare to anything. I only wish to actually meet him in person, thank him, and take a photo with him. I wish to take lessons from buckethead. That would be my ultimate wish.

I absolutely love how he leaves the stage. A little wave and that’s it. He was here then he’s gone.
He’s wearing KFC bucket. There should be NO complaints from ‘Kentucky fried chicken’ whatsoever.

Absolutely. Our first time there and seeing Bucket live, so definitely great all around. We'll be back in August to see streetlight manifesto.
I've been hoping for years that Buckethead will play concerts in Europe. Otherwise I'll probably have to travel to the USA at some point.

At 45mins anyone know what the song is? The first time I heard this was when he hit Portland. Love the harmonics on it…
I use to think Buckethead might be Jason Becker.
really?
Can anyone give me the name of the song played at 45:25 ?? It’s not “Revenge of the double-man”. - Is it just a random amazing solo?
