Hi Valentina ❤ I too make an apple cake, passed down from my grandma. We use sliced green apples however, and also involves cinnamon. Either way, both cakes are delightful! Store in fridge, Important to note. We dont warm ours up, after. Enjoy your weekend! 🌹

Ciao Valentina, Come Stai. MMM MMM MMM, that is fabulous. Was that maple ice cream on top.? I thought you might add cinnamon to mix. I would not mind some Pecans or walnuts in there too. The market is full of different varieties of apples, I'll let you know which ones I pick up. I got some nice Acorn and Butternut squashes last week. Would this recipe be good for muffin size cakes. Hi Edward! I made a similar recipe for muffin size apple delights and the apples were perfectly cooked, you can watch it here: th-cam.com/video/kvcCgqYYXUU/w-d-xo.html I used classic vanilla ice cream with some cinnamon on top. If you prefer you can add cinnamon into the cake batter or on top of the cake when it cooled down. Have a nice week!

Hello and welcome here! You can surely use vegetable oil instead of melted butter, but consider that this cake is pretty light because it's made with water, so butter gives a nice flavor too. Let me know when you try it! Much love
