Lovin' the brand new RingConn Gen 2! Comment with any questions. With all the updates in the smart ring space, I'll be doing an updated head-to-head video between this new RingConn Gen 2 and the Oura and Ultrahuman rings and talking about their latest software upgrade, so stay tuned and subscribe! Edit: 1 thing I forgot to mention is that RingConn is he only ring that will sync Sp02 to Apple Health.
Good video. Im considering getting the Ringconn 2 for the sleep metrics and around Black Friday getting the Garmin Venu 3 for everything else since I currently dont have a smart watch either.
Wish I'd looked into these while it was still on Kickstarter. As it is now, the price is right up there with Ultrahuman, and I hear they're backed up with their orders.
Thanks for watching! If you mean the RingConn and Oura Ring, they are pretty close in my findings. Check out my channel as I just did a comparison a couple days ago of 4 smart rings, including the RingConn and Oura.
Hello and thanks for watching! The app will show the distance, calories burned, duration, as well as heart rate zones, average and maximum heart rate. However, I don't think it will show a map traveled. Perhaps in an update down the road, but for now, I don't believe so.
@@MikeReviewsForYou Thank you so much, I am so glad it does, and I am now definitely buying this ring! I really appreciated your great video, and your following-up on my inquiry! So, many many thanks to you 🙂
Great video mike, subcribed:)) Could you compare your sleep apnea stats in the CPAP and the Ringconn gen 2? I'm really curious about the accuracy of the AHI and so on :)))
@@bragebnb Thanks for watching and the kind words! If this was a few months ago, no problem. But I have stopped using my cpap since losing a bunch of weight and hope to never ever see that thing again! Sorry I couldn’t be any help on your question :(
@MikeReviewsForYou hahah, I get it, those things are terrible. How accurate do you think the ring is? Do you know any other better way to track ahi at home?
@@bragebnb I think it was pretty accurate when I remember testing it against the cpap. They’re currently seeking fda approval to be “official” for sleep apnea monitoring. I’m not aware of any other way to monitor ahi other than a cpap machine or this ring. Not sure this matters to you, but it’s also the slimmest of the smart rings.
That's so tough! Here's my thoughts: If you want blood oxygen sensing on demand or sleep apnea detection, then its a no brainer that you get the RingConn Gen 2. The Ultrahuman Ring Air I think has a prettier interface that is more appealing to me personally, but this is a preference thing so you may like the RingConn app better. In my opinion, the Ultrahuman Ring Air doesn't have any standout features like RingConn's sleep apnea detection or on demand blood oxygen sensing, but its hard for me to get past their app UI. RingConn on paper is the way to go with those features I discussed, in addition to best battery life and thinnest and slimmest (especially if you have small hands). Sorry for not giving a definitive answer, but its near impossible for me to do on this! Check out my other video on my channel that puts the Oura Ring, Ultrahuman Ring, and RingConn (Gen 1) Ring head-to-head. You can at least see inside the app for all 3 on my video. I'll have a new head-to-head video soon as over the past couple of months there have been many updates on all of them. Thanks for watching!

I really like that this ring allows on demand measuring of your SP02, unlike other rings...
Do you know whether there are any plans to update the RingConn Gen 2 with the blood pressure monitoring functionality at some point in the future?
Honestly, I have no idea. I'm not sure if blood pressure can be checked with the current set of sensors in the ring.
I love the charging case on Ringconn gen 2 will be really useful while travelling, how accurate are both? Almost on par?

Great review, Mike. Thanks!
Thank you so much! :)
For Activity Tracking, when tracking walks or hikes, will the app show the distance with a map (from phone’s GPS) as well as pace, etc.?
