The big mystery about the 8.9 billion dollars of customer's money which has gone missing could be answered by Sam Trabucco (co-CEO of Alameda) and Brett Harrison (FTX USA President), who left their posts in August and September 2022, respectively. So where are these people and why is the media silent about them?

The whole concept of money does not work if private individuals are able to simply create their own currency. For traditionally currencies this is called "counterfeiting", and is illegal in every country in the world. The main innovation of cryptocurrency is that it did an end run around anti-counterfeiting laws, and allowed people like Sam Bankman Fried to legally create their own cryptocurrency types, and indeed SBF created his own cryptocoins and sold them to willing buyers. These patsis have all the investment acumen of people who "invest" in chain letters, instead of doing the obvious by starting their own.
Millions of ordinary citizens w/no financial background could have told you he was a creepy poser/fraud before billions were lost. It used to be called 'horse sense'. Maybe you could, you know, look into that.

The FTX exchange was very profitable. The fraud was how client funds were used.
Profitable as evidenced by what exactly? As a company FTX had very little bookeeping and no accounting standards according to the receiver.
