I was going as a group with 8 people and I heard one of the girls didn't have a date and so they put me with some other girl from my school. I was like okay I guess I have a date now and I was happy and confident. After the photos and the drive to the location I knew she didn't want me to dance with her or show her off when my friends asked me about her which made me feel awkward about her. I was a bit bumped out when we walked in and my true friends already had dates and we all got together and took a huge photo with me and someone else who didn't have dates feel awkward. Honestly I wished I didn't go cause now it's just a scar on my life now.

Unfortunately I can't show up and leave when I want to. My school is super strict about timing so if you don't show up at a certain time you're not allowed in, and they lock you in until a certain time.

My prom is tomorrow and what I’ll do is, I’ll be there from 7:00pm to 9:00pm instead of staying the entire 4 hours (it starts at 7pm and ends at 10pm) my mom will pick me up and we will go out to eat! Never cared for it but I went to see how it is it was okay but it got boring so I just went home early,my other friends didn't show up it's okay because I didn't show up to homecoming and didn't care for any other high school events only one person that was a friend was there so I hung out with him,in the beginning mostly everybody was wearing something casual but mine was expensively formal as I'm like shocked. As soon as I got to the venue, I went to a random person and started talking with them! Apparently, they had friends there too! We danced together, introduced ourselves, and EVEN DID THE PHOTO BOOTH TOGETHER! So I had a really, really fun time. My friend tried talking me out of it and at first I was a little uneasy about it, but I am glad that I didn't listen to my friend (sorry friend, but it's true), went against myself, and went anyways.

I have no friends at my school and you know what? That’s alright! My prom is tomorrow and what I’ll do is, I’ll be there from 7:00pm to 9:00pm instead of staying the entire 4 hours (it starts at 7pm and ends at 10pm) my mom will pick me up and we will go out to eat! The thing is; you don’t need people with you to have a good time, sure you might be nervous but at the same time, you’re making memories with yourself and you can look back and be like “damn I really went to prom by myself and totally WALKED!!” But yeah, and even if you don’t go to prom, you can always show out for graduation!!!! I’m going to wear an orange vintage themed woman’s suit with some heels then I’m going to decorate my cap with marigold flowers and put “present marigold” on the cap! But yeah you know? Either way I’m sure you’ll be awesome!

I have a prom date, but her parents forced her to go alone by booking a vehicle with only two seats. So I am going alone... It is going to be quite awkward upon travelling. Nevertheless our venue isnt far from my suburb.
Never cared for it but I went to see how it is it was okay but it got boring so I just went home early,my other friends didn't show up it's okay because I didn't show up to homecoming and didn't care for any other high school events only one person that was a friend was there so I hung out with him,in the beginning mostly everybody was wearing something casual but mine was expensively formal as I'm like shocked. I'm getting some of the most compliments checked out the afterparty and it was just overdressed coded for me.

Hey! For me, I want to go to prom but here is the thing. I'll be going by myself (My friend doesn't want to go but I want to go) and I barely no any of the juniors at my school. What do I do? I also want to go to prom but am new to this school and one of my only friends(I only have two and the other one is going with her other friends) here doesn't want to go, so I plan on going alone too. I'd say the best thing you could do is just do what you're comfortable with. Nobody says you have to talk to anyone or be this loud party-person; you're just going to have fun, so have fun in the ways you can and are comfortable with. It's a night to dress up and have a night on the town! Just live it y'know? Nobody is gonna judge you, they'll probably be too busy twerking lm*o

As soon as I got to the venue, I went to a random person and started talking with them! Apparently, they had friends there too! We danced together, introduced ourselves, and EVEN DID THE PHOTO BOOTH TOGETHER! So I had a really, really fun time. My friend tried talking me out of it and at first I was a little uneasy about it, but I am glad that I didn't listen to my friend (sorry friend, but it's true), went against myself, and went anyways.
