I discovered the online book community earlier this year and while I'm not great at chatting with people because anxiety, it's really helped with my mental health during covid, especially since I have chronic health problems which mean I've not been out much at all and seeing your autumnal b-roll footage at the moment is giving me a little window into the things I can't really get out and experience for myself during a pandemic and I can't put into words how much that is helping me.
i'm really glad the online book community helps you to feel a little better! i always feel like im annoying people when commenting and stuff so i dont do it as much as i want to, but i appreciate your channel so much :) its been a constant for me during this quarantine!
I am the same way. On the one hand I’d like to be an active member of the online community, on the other I feel like everything I said is not interesting enough and no one would hate me.
As a fellow plant mom, I love seeing all your plants! Also this reminded me that I should probably go check on mine and water them ^^' I have a Baby Bunny Bellies plant (Inch Plant/Speedy Jenny) and it is a MONSTER and I love it but...definitely need to find a new home for it in my house soon. It has outgrown its current living spot.

Omygosh! I’m so sad that you & Becca had to cancel your weekend! :( I hate how this pandemic has effected our lives to this extent. I’m also sorry about your nail appointment too! :( Yeah, I feel you. I pretty much live recluse in a lot of ways so this pandemic isolation isn’t a super big deal, but it can still feel like a lot sometimes. Just how the pandemic took away the basic stuff that you loved & even didn’t love. I am so MASSIVELY grateful for the online book community! Even before all of this happened I felt that way, but it’s just so nice to be able to interact with people who share your love for books! It’s very comforting!📚💕💕 I love watching your vlogs because they are so peaceful & magical & the music is always so soothing. I absolutely love the way you capture life & moments. Hi Ashleigh, the scenic walks looked so tranquil and lovely and I'm glad you enjoyed Once and Future witches. The 10,000 doors of January was a fantastic read- I gave it 5 stars after reading it as it was so atmospheric and immersive and just beautifully written as a whole.
In terms of people being patronizing I'd just ignore it as its their own negative hangups and attitudes and for the record your plants all look lovely and vibrant.

Advice from a fellow nail biter: if you feel comfortable doing your own nails, invest in a gel nail kit with a light. If not, get polish that tastes bad. I prefer Stop The Bite, but most pharmacies should carry something like it.

I have an ebook ARC of The Once and Future Witches and feel like my pace isn’t up to my usual reading speed. Maybe I’ll try picking up the physical book. I do find the story interesting but I feel like I’m just crawling through it for some reason. Plus the book is super pretty!

Today 10/20/2020, we have snow here in Minnesota, USA. 4 to 5 inches already. We still have leaves on the trees. Snow's pretty, but it's much to early for winter snow. 😊
