These are really good tips for being outside with a visual impairment.I am visually impaired with limited vision and I use a white cane.I am highly sensitive to sunlight and sunshine,I do use sunglasses over my eyewear or glasses,I use a dark brimmed hat,I try to stay in a shaded area and have the warm sun behind me.I also use sunscreen on my face.I am only in the sunshine long enough to walk to the bus stops on my way to the mall.If I am in the sun too long it causes me to have headaches
I do wear light colored clothes in the sun and I have stay covered at all times due to me having vitiligo and no ligaments in my skin so I can get sun burn easily.
Great tips, thanks! The comments about clothing and hats and tablecloth colour are really useful 😊
Glad to help! Thanks so much for watching and leaving feedback! ❤️👩🏽🦯
