Put off buying a highlifter because I knew someone would eventually do this swap and wanted to see results first. Your awesome man!

I have a 2016 850 scrambler transmission that I am tearing apart. I am assuming the chain is slipping on the main rear drive gear. The thing is stock with 100 hours. Orginal belt. Very disappointed. Its got to be a defect.

Just fuck n with ya Nice glad to see 850 put to the test with capable rider can't wait to see the thrashing its about to receive. You need a camera man so nothing is miss sure you could find someone that would volunteer in your area

My 2017 850 Highlifter is less than 3 years old. 1600 miles. Top transmission bearing and seal need to be replaced. Junk. I did switch the cooling fans like you suggest. 20 minutes later I switched them back. Does not work.

A tip my brother and I found when removing the primary clutch. If you use a hardened dowel or rod that slips all the way into the shaft then thread in the correct bolt behind it and begun threading it in.

That's exactly what I ended up doing that was the wrong Fuller it was for my RZR

They make a shorter puller for the xp chassis so you don't have to pull the axle.

Ya and the polaris will make you wait a week on order and still give you the long one.

@@MudPuppyOffroad thanks you for replying. I saw my secondary clutch wobbling and I thought shaft was bent . But I checked shaft and it's ok. Is this normal or is clutch bad. Deflects about 1/16 of an inch. Thank you for your help

I bet with the lift you can run the sportsman 1000xp or 850xp or scrambler shocks to increase suspension travel, I run 30 inch monstermayhams on my 2015 1000xp with NO LIFT, just cranked the preload to the hardest setting and minor rear fender footwell trimming. If I bottom the shit outta the front it runs a bit. 4000 miles on 30s n no problems.

That slack in your chain is normal thats also referred to as drive line back lash if you let off the gas quickly on your bike or give it gas quickly you may here a slight pop there built like that on purpose when i had my 850 i called polaris about it thats what they explained
