Here's the video breaking down how the reactor works: • I turn Plastics into F...
I believe with the world wide crisis we are facing now, we require a world wide solution. And this is why I believe we need decentralized devices such as this Reactor. Think about it, even if there is just 1 reactor in every community, that will put a huge dent in plastic waste and pollution.
Due to this, I do not wish to make a singular specialized Reactor, once I master and complete this one, I want to make all different types, of all different scales and sizes.

3000 to 4000 liters of oil🤣 thank you for trying to convert for us. Unfortunately I was busy sipping on a beer when you said that. Now beer is all over my floor. But love what you are doing dude. keep it up!

The black glass like substance is either called asphalt, bitumen, coal tar, pitch and so on. Try how it smells, like freshly asphalted road.

Yes you can make various fuels in various ways but you also need to know how to chemically treat them strip them stabilize them and get them ready for use

I'll bet you have been making pure styrene.. but if this is true, then it will begin to plasticize if left in the open to reach air.. but I just started watching and I don't know anything about your runs, so let me continue. This is really awesome in concept alone. I sincerely wish you the best on your ventures ❤

When it boils up the column like that it's called "puking". You over filled your container and or over heated it.

I have been distilling waste motor oil directly into diesel with a single run simple distillation for 10 years the fuel that you get will run an engine perfectly it does smell it is very difficult to get it straightened out with chemicals and stable but it will run an engine perfectly with zero issues cost about six in a gallon

The diesel fuel that you get when you crack motor oil is a very powerful diesel fuel I would say you get at least 10% more power out of the engine than you would with pump Diesel from a fueling station

My dad recommended "boilermaker" to me back in 1976 or so. I was a teenager. He was a heavy duty mechanic. I will soon retire as carpenter. I understand the basics of positive and negative pressure vessels and the power related to it,, that's why I leave to you and your trade! Serious stuff!! Good on ya :)

Tires have a lot of sulphur. He showed in another video that running the vapors through steel wool and/or copper mesh it will react to form sulfides and possibly some sulfate.
Becides that, fractional distillation should separate everything. Put the tar back into the pyrolysis system for further cracking.

@@itallomarcos8500 just go to naturejab 's main page, you'll see all his videos listed. He has quite a lot of them.
I personally do not have my own pyrolysis video up yet, but I do have a playlist on my TH-cam page that goes back over 10 years showing many other TH-camrs doing the same process on a small scale.

i think a reflux column on the pyrolysis retort would yield more of the lighter fractions.I don't know how his setup works, but it is very tall, which would have a similar effect to a reflux column.

Can someone please explain how some make gasoline from plastic and others make diesel from plastic?

    • @ElijahDecker
      @ElijahDecker 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

The plastics you're thinking of are made up of long chains of hydrocarbons. Oil, diesel, and gasoline are also hydrocarbons. The difference is how long those molecular chains are. Get the polymer hot enough (without oxygen so it doesn't burn) and those long chains will break into shorter molecules, which can then be distilled into oil, diesel, and gasoline.

Nobody is running engines on this unclassified fuel long term. It contains too many short chain carbons. It will destroy your motor. Furthermore you will get far better results with fractionized distillation and the use of one type of plastic. Not several.
