I believe with the world wide crisis we are facing now, we require a world wide solution. And this is why I believe we need decentralized devices such as this Reactor. Think about it, even if there is just 1 reactor in every community, that will put a huge dent in plastic waste and pollution.
Due to this, I do not wish to make a singular specialized Reactor, once I master and complete this one, I want to make all different types, of all different scales and sizes.

In the future, put a thin bar, or dowel, or straight bar on the bottom in the holes to create a leverage hold when you attempt to remove the valve. This way it’s strapped as you have it, and creates a hold for the tank at the bottom. Just an idea

240 in the states is rather easy because every house gets 240vac. Its just that the power is split phase such that the two phases are 180 degrees out of phase. When one phase is +120v with respect to ground, the other phase is -120v with respect to ground and the two phases alternate between -240v and +240v (rms) with respect to eachother..
the problem primarilly is that American microwaves are designed to run on 120vac with respect to ground. The secondary issue is that 240vac outlets in the home are rare, usually reserved for the dryer, and electric stove.

12:25 there is actually *some* risk here, namely that under some conditions combustible gas mixtures from the torch may accumulate inside the tank
the inside of the flame has gases that have not finished burning yet, and if they pass though a small hole that cools them quickly you get a combustible mixture inside
This is rare, but accidents have happened due to this. Obviously not a concern when plasma cutting.
I was thinking this too when cutting and was worried hahah! Thanks, def would not advise this method.

They do it every time something comes out that would hurt their pockets ( the oil industry) . Being able to take waste plastic and turn it into gasoline is something they don’t want the common folk to know how to do . Otherwise they won’t be able to sell their gas. I like it mini reactor. Was thinking of something similar but its just for burning honey sickle. Someone needs to get rid of them. Ive been making charcoal. So its based on using honey sickle to make charcoal.
what was production volume of crude-ish oil of your larger one? and this one? Ide like to build one that makes crude in volume of somewhere between 20 to 50 gallons pre other steps to make it closest to diesel.

Why not to do a discharge port from the reactor? No need to open the reactor
I have to wonder if a stove heater element would work as well or better and simplify a few design parameters. I'm thinking it's near 100% electrically efficent, or at least more efficent than a magnetron in terms of efficency. But a microwave magnetron sounds cool and might penetrate deeper. A new stove heater element can be formed into the shape you need.

No idea if this was the culprit, but seems that big reactors have different methods of filtering solids from the vapor, I believe there is a chance it might of exploded because of a hot particle that flied thru the system.

It's not that hard to remove the valve and save the threads. They're tight but I made a tool from a piece of 2" schedule 40 steel pipe that works nice. I strap the propane tank to a tree with ratchet straps and give it the torque.

Perfect world would be to build a stand alone system that runs on solar, hydro, or wind to run automatically during the day and harvest at night. Also, this is a real solution to atmospheric pollution. Why don't countries convert their waste plastic to full like this currently?
