Cricut is a great starter machine - Most of our clients use them - I recommend a minimum of 24 inch cutting plotter to allow greater selection of material use and not having to cut large vinyl into sheets. Best of luck & happy printing

We press @ 369°F - Pressing time total 25 Sec.. Recommend to split time, 10 sec- cool - peel - press 10 more - cool before handling -Good luck -&- happy printing
Hi there great video, i am just wondering does it have to be teflon or could i use something else or just double up on the sheet paper, and is there a distortion on the caps when worn?
We cannot give you info on DTF , as we have not concluded testing. As with any print substrate , always read application instructions. In them you will find acceptable fabric type for select print.
Not all acrylic is created equal. Usually hats priced below $2 are made of recycled material. We sell very high quality caps that work great for heat pressing. ( sold during seasons only - bulk deal available ) Good luck and happy printing
If you are using our flexible vinyl - After it is cool, when wearing it - gently pull the sides of the hat fabric forward = Problem solved! Good luck & Happy printing
I've seen hats over 2 years old just starting to show slight sign of wear(letter edge peel from ridged fabric) - We use only flexible vinyl no glitter or such..
Great settings - Sounds like the standard , everyone's machine is different so 350° may be 345°-354° - For best results use a temperature test strip for heat presses.
Impossible to determine the problem without knowing the brand of hats. Usually the quality of hat plays a big part in results. Heat pressing requires higher quality hats. Use a different brand, try our temps and time or lower.
Use only light pressure to press - Press in increments split your total time in half- (copied) -> Not all acrylic is created equal. Usually hats priced below $2 are made of recycled material. Thank you so much for this video and your technique!
You are so welcome!
Very good,nice simple
Thank you for posting! Possibly a dumb question but did you mirror the image before cutting? I will be using my Cricut to cut.
Yes. Heat transfer vinyl with words or letters will always need to be mirrored :)
Thank you for this video
My pleasure
Pretty cool I could do this with my cricut

Hi there great video, i am just wondering does it have to be teflon or could i use something else or just double up on the sheet paper, and is there a distortion on the caps when worn?
Is there a way to keep the hat from compressing and losing the puffiness it originally had?
That's always the problem I think the temperature settings should be at a certain rate
Try a lighter pressure.
Would this work with embroidered patches?
What is the best type of vinyl for this?
Thermoflex Plus - 100% worth the price
Why do my hat loose it shape
Can you do dtf on Touques?
We cannot give you info on DTF , as we have not concluded testing. As with any print substrate , always read application instructions. In them you will find acceptable fabric type for select print.
What am I doing wrong if my logo separates?
I can see burn marks, seems like acrylic is not good for heat pressing.

@@shirtmileyea nah don’t recommend this to people this is hurting me to watch lol
It goes on nice but after you stretch it out to put it around your head it stretches all out

How’s it been holding up?
I've seen hats over 2 years old just starting to show slight sign of wear(letter edge peel from ridged fabric) - We use only flexible vinyl no glitter or such..
330 350 for avout 20 sec. Midium pressure
Great settings - Sounds like the standard , everyone's machine is different so 350° may be 345°-354° - For best results use a temperature test strip for heat presses.
My hats shrink when I put it on the heat press how do I stop this from happening?
Impossible to determine the problem without knowing the brand of hats. Usually the quality of hat plays a big part in results. Heat pressing requires higher quality hats. Use a different brand, try our temps and time or lower.
Should’ve shown it on your head to show everyone how bad the logo will look once it’s put on ñol
The hats are very flat now
