Hi guys, if you're not carrying any other bags/ rucksacks it would be worthwhile fitting those bags longways half on seat and half on the racks this will balance the bikes better whilst cornering as you won't have weight hanging off the sides. Sit on yourown bikes to check how much space there is behind both of you on yourown bikes with the bags on to find the best 'fixing' points in that position.
Having them longways also gives less wind resistance and is better for fuel consumption. 🏍🏍safe

The quad lock wireless charger is a game changer for me , I no longer have to worry about making sure my phone is charged before I go out riding . I did get fooled once when I’d managed to turn it off 😞 Your new kit looks excellent , looking forward to seeing it in use for real 😃

Great luggage! You look prepared for an apocolypse now! When it comes to carrying clothes, I'd recommend some vacuum bags - they're completely waterproof and, perhaps more importantly, only take up about a third of the space of regular bags. They're not expensive either. You can get versions with their own mini vacuum pump or ones that you just seal and roll up to expel the air.

Doubletake mirrors are awesome. I have them on my bike as well and commonly installed on adventure bikes and other off-road motorcycles

I've seen those latest generation mirrors up close they're a nice piece, don't forget to fold them in when you're in a technical section.@@LaviandOllie
if you need to fix a puncture.... take spare inner tubes, and bead breakers.... the van van tires are beasts to get on or off... the bead breaker is really essential.....
I'll second that Stephen. It's always nice to just slip a tube in and then repair the punctured one at camp. As for breaking the bead we just use the kickstand from somebody else's bike, it will pop off the most stubborn bead.

If your motorbike has an engine change, there may be one more thing that needs to be prepared, namely changes/adjustments to the vehicle registration with a new engine number.

All good takes awhile to gigure all the crap out of what you need, don't need, how to carry and access it. The Mosko Moto is top quality equipment. Those hydro bladders built in are real handy. They make a fuel bladder too. Givi has a plastic fuel bottle to mount, one liter I think. A couple practice runs. Tools, hit up EastBound Tools, very compact sets. Could split them up between two of you. See if they will sponser you a set. You got credentials now. Next time

I had my eye on two different top boxes, I Brough a Backpack to wear until I decided which one I want, and after an hour of riding I took the Backpack off and tried strapping it to the bike... The crazy thing is, because of the colour, design and material it's made from, with the straps going through the rack, around the taillight perfectly without blocking it, and being X strapped underneath the pillion seat. It looks like it was designed specifically to fit the bike, and it doesn't move around at all!
best of all it only takes a minute to undo and set back up as a backpack (if only it was waterproof!)
A camera on the chin... I brought one because of all the things I was seeing while riding... mostly the way people drive, something that hadn't been as important to me while in the safety of a steel cage. but the first time I went highway speeds... the wind catches it when you look around and tries to spin the head around backwards. it doesn't take long to get used to it. but this is what you'll notice, other than feeling heavy, but you get used to that too!

The Mosko stuff is super! I'd be tempted to take a tarp might be cosy to sit out in the rain etc😉. (Esp wild camping in Scotland. Watch out for midges but they might have died down).

This is stsrting to look really brillant. Separste riders, really upgraded little simple to repair bikes( just replace an engine instead of a regular oil change), nice camping equipment and great, super great trails, greenways, and little rooads to travel over the entire island. Plus, every day pray, " zero flats".

Sorry guys, I agree with your dad, those mirrors look absolutely "pony and trap" (crap). They're way too short and all you'll see in them is your elbow! 😲 Aw well, hopefully you got them for free. (Never look a gift horse etc.) Good luck on the new adventure. Can't wait! 👍😎

since you both are doing the UK TET you need to get retractable gear shifters and rear brake pedals with far better quality engine protection and a good quality handguards or you will defo be doing a short run and spend WAY MORE money on repairs to your bikes. only trying to help you carry on with your travels. lol

Cant wait for the next adventure. Have you thought about a remote for the gopros, i believe they can run up to 5 at a time? Just a thought. We are using a cheap one off ebay to run 2 gopros for our next trip. Hopefully it will make editing easier 🤔😁

Kit and setup looks great, don’t carry tools you don’t need, it’s just weight waste. It’s class you have 2 of the same bikes so 1 set of tools will do both bikes.

You’ll wish you had side bags. Gets your weight lower and when you dump the bike it’ll keep it from going all the way down and it will protect your legs. Good luck.

What about communication bike to bike 2 way radio
Cute Rear Dufle but miles to small for my needs. I hope you remember Baby Bee.the tiny yellow Honda CB125 . She was on 90l on the rear at ABR not included Side and Tankbag and i found finaly a way to get her if needed on 220l + but planed is only 185l for weight reasons, Side and Tankbag in any cases not even included. And Ollie 300 mm is a nice Portrait and Allround Lense for zoomed in Details but not ideal for Wildlife. Exept you go close and Personal It´s to short even on an Crop Sensor. You need at Least 500mm or one of the 600mm Zoom Lenses from Tamron or Sigma to go real for Wildlife + an Good Fitness to Handhold them

I like the colour scheme on Lavi's bike best. The green (khaki) luggage with the brown seat and white bike is much better looking. And of course, it goes without saying, Lavi is much better looking than Ollie.

Without wanting to sound like a grumpy old man, I would caution you about the lack of protection from what you are calling a sump guard. I can foresee holes in your engines with the lack of protection you have there at the moment. 🤔🤔. Green lanes, will be the limit of your safe routes as you are at the moment.
