You have amazing teaching skills. It is not only about the knowledge of the subject, but also the way you deliver the information and the creation of an exciting atmosphere along with your funny attitude; makes watching your videos a complete pleasure :-)
I must say i saw it, even though I'm not incredibly good at chess. It's just that soooo many of your videos have a Bishop sacrified :) (but yeah, also the continuation with the Queen there was pretty clear) Thanks for the good lesson and the entertainment Cheers from Switzerland
@@georgepapadopoulos7303 :) Hope you could enjoy its beauty. That game seems linear and simple (as I thought when I saw it the first time) but the more I analyse it and the more I realyze it's a really fascinating game.
I love the game by white. Look how Taimanov managed to develop his pieces so well. Bishop pair, both aiming at black king… Just beautiful to watch this.
a drum roll helps you think but a soft one would be nice for those with headphones, a nice drum roll creates a nice Pavlovian signal to start looking for brilliancy, a longer roll gives longer to think - a great concept if a mild roll sound is used!!
As always, great video Mato :) Also I like how you're experimenting with things to try to spice up your videos. If I could give a tip: the drum rolls are pretty cool, but they're very loud compared to your voice. Other than that: keep up the great work!
I understand why you included the drum-roll, but the reason I subscribed to your channel is because your replays are concise, intellectual, eloquent and sophisticated. Not cheap, quick entertainment, make me laugh..... No more drum rolls please!
The biggest mistake was black castling where there was already a pawn storm taking place. It stopped black putting his knight on f6 which would stop Bxh7.
Mato, your videos are great. I look forward to tbem everyday. However, I am not too sure about the drum roll. Just know you are good enough that you don't need it. But if you like it, I will still watch and enjoy your videos faithfully. Bye for now
Couldn't White sacrifice on h7 one move earlier, after Black Bc5 (Bxh7+ immediately instead of Bc3 first?). No need to move the dark square Bishop to safety when you intend to sacrifice it on g7 anyway.
I went for Qh5. I thought about the double bishop sacrife for a long time, but I could not calculate to the very end, because instead of 26. ...Nf6 black could have played fxg6 and I missed the key idea that after 26. ...fxg6 27. Qxg6+ Kh8 28. Qh6+ Kg8 29. Rg1+ Kf7 30. Rg7+ Ke8 31. Qe6+ and now if Be7 then Ne6# so I did not see that white is winning the queen if black wants to play on after Qe6+ (I realized this after the video when I gave it a second thought). 26. ...Nf6 was easier to calculate, since the idea is simple. Deep plan behind the sacrifice.
Is an endgame with a queen, rook, and 5 pawns a sure winner over 2 rooks, 2 knights, and 2 pawns? I'm not convinced that the queen-for-rook exchange is a guaranteed loser for black.
One thing Mato's taught me... look for the killer sacrifice. Best!... to set up the killer sacrifice. Thanks to Mato! All other chess commenters must measure against him.
Also, if PGN is bad for some reason (sometimes Deep Fritz 13 won't read these PGNs in Mato's descriptions properly), you can download PGNs from www.chessgames.com/
It`s not only about the killer move, you also have to calculate how to mate with that. If you go wrong, you can easily lose the game. Happened to me few times in my games.
Those drumrolls are too long and I think you should wait til it's completely over til you Aleah again cause they're so loud. Great game and video though
Late evening, quiet mood, with a cup of tea or coffe, watching Mato's videos... Damn there's nothing better.

Big fan Mato!!! I watch nearly every video. Love the new drum roll by the way... ;)
I loved the drum roll!
The top 3 chess players of all time:
1-Mato Jelic.
2-The author of "The King Hunt".
3-The guy who wants you to find the "killer Move".
Thank you for your compliment

I died laughing at those two sudden drum rolls and then the abrupt cutting of the sound effects in the middle of the applause
I 've seen the sacrifice of the one bishop but not the other's one! Very fascinating description of the game! Thank you!
Lasker - Bauer 1889 is the very first game recorded with this sacrifice.
@@rubensilvera1164 Thank you!

GREAT STUFF MATO(DRUM ROLLS INCLUDED!)-YOUR PRESENTATION IS AS USUAL UNEQUALED-THANKS AGAIN
Mato, Amazing! A work of art!
this drum is awesome :) and so is the game
Mato I thought the drumroll was hilarious! I don't care what people say, I like your sense of humor! Some of you people are too serious.
Thanks, I like the drum roll too.
Me too
Saw the 'Killer Move' but I did NOT se all the follow through with the pawn moves. So I guess that does not count.
I love the drum roll Mato!
Loving the drum rolls :D
I really appreciate your dry sense of humor. 3:57 was hilarious!
I like the drumrolls.
Today I was expecting a drum roll sound; I got that twice :P
nice commentary, thanks Mato

The drumrolls is not bad.Fun is Ok.
Your SHOW become better.
Gracias Mato.
Beautiful game!
I can usually see the killer move, but its the moves after it that are hard to find.
the drumrolls is awesome
at 5:43 ... after g6 why not fxg6? possible continuation Qxg6+ Kh8 Rhg1and game would continue after Black Queen comes to the rescue
I assumed there was a B sac on h7, but I couldn't see it all the way through to the finish so probably wouldn't have made the move in a live game. :(

Little known fact: The goat is the only chess piece that can move off the board and take a nap.
cool ending sequence
what a game !!!!!!!!!!
Woooowww
Thx Mato

this drum is annoying, but everything else is amazing
good analysiss
Would be really nice to share the PGN files of the games, then we can analyze with engine. Just a suggestion.
You have PGN in description :D
Also, if PGN is bad for some reason (sometimes Deep Fritz 13 won't read these PGNs in Mato's descriptions properly), you can download PGNs from www.chessgames.com/
5:50 is a gxf7 checkmate
super !!! online chees - playok (kurnik - old name) !
i knew it was a double bishop sacrifice! but my move would be Qh5!
Nice drim
I must be getting a bit sharper. I saw the killer move immediately.
