  • In this video I compare the latest ASYMMETRIC HYBRID piece and REVOLUTIONARY BENCHMARK BALL in the SPI lineup, the Storm Bowling Ion Pro to it's predecessor and counterparts in the SPI line, the Storm Bowling IQ Tour (symmetric solid) and the Roto-Grip Tour Dynamx!
The layouts are all the same and included below...
    Ion Pro - 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 x 2-1/2
    IQ Tour - 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 x 2-1/2
    Tour Dynamx - 4-1/2 x 4-1/2 x 2-1/2
My PAP is 4-1/2 RIGHT and 5/8 UP

That is a great ball. Would get it but I have plenty of hybrids similar to it. Definitely am gonna get the X Cell though 👏🏾

Currently using the discontinued Xponent as my benchmark ball. How would the Ion Pro compare?

It’s going to be a slight step up in overall reaction because the cover is stronger and it’s going to be a tad more angular because of the asymmetry.

Looks good. I recently got the xponent and love it. Need a ball down. Do u recommend xponent pearl or lighting blackout? Thanks. Love watching u bowl . Ur awesome

Thank you! If you like the Exponent but just want a Pearl option, don’t risk it and go Exponent Pearl. Lightning Blackout might be too much cover and a different shape.

Awesome comparison. I used it in league last night and it was really good. To me, it's similar to the Zen Soul but slightly stronger. That Tour Dynamix is a good ball!

Always good to see the collars between both of you, gives two different looks and two people who give honest opinions and great explanations of what they see, surface adjustments and when you would use a the ball

I have a gem, eternity, vebo, phaze 2, Wolverine dark moss, and purple do you think this ball would fit in my arsenal or is it too close to phase 2. If you see any gaps and what to put in would love your help thanks. Love the content keep it up.

Eternity and VeBo seem like a ton of overlap. I’d take one of those out for an Ion. I feel like if you let the Ion shine up and keep the surface on the P2 they’ll be different enough to have specific spots.
I assume my purple you mean purple hammer (urethane) which in that case, what I said above still stands.

@@larrytripp3412 thanks for everything! I’d maybe do the Sublime as it’s a tad stronger than the Ion. Really depends on your style more than anything.

Wow that ball looks so good. And I have never seen Charles throw that hard before. I saw you two earlier and decided to subscribe to your channel. It’s nice to see honest reviews. I’m thinking about getting the Ion, because I really don’t have any asymmetric balls other then the 3D Offset. I usually prefer and do better with pearl or hybrid symmetrical ones. I’ve been using the GB4 hybrid and liking it a lot. I also throw a Wolverine and a Radical Intel Pearl in one house, and a Radical Pandemonium and Rave at another house. The core and cover of the Sublime also interests me. Sorry for the long post, but you really provide a lot of knowledge. Thanks 🙏
