you can drop the "You're special" book. Tell Dogmeat to pick it up and pick it up yourself. Dogmeat will have an unused one in his inventory.

@@redmastermind4959Can still do the dupe exploit with the weapon workbench/workshop, though. Started a new file after the update and maxed my stats ASAP.
Don’t forget about the “hot rodder” magazine at the robot disposal ground!

North east of sanctuary hills is a junkyard and a satellite station. The Junkyard has a fatman and one mini nuke hidden amongst the trash and there is also a deactivated sentry bot which you could kill for fusion cores or reactivate and send to a settlement. In between the junkyard and the satellite station is a downed vertibird with a levelled set of power armor. The satellite station itself has some decent loot, a magazine, and a raider boss armed with a minigun.
Edit: For more decent loot, go farther east until you see an elevated highway. Look out for some shacks and windmills on top of the highway. Save and go up to that area and kill the 3 gunners there. You will leave with 2 laser pistols, 1 hunting rifle, and 1 laser sniper rifle which is arguably the most powerful weapon in the entire starting area.

@@jaa5197 The sentry bot I mentioned can be sent to Sanctuary Hills if I remember correctly but its been years since I last played F4. The sentry bot's pathfinding can also be bugged and get lost in the middle of traveling to the settlement so its better to just kill the bot for scrap and wait until you get the robot workshop from the Automaton dlc. All bots you build from the Automaton dlc act as followers/settlers so they can be sent to any settlement like a regular settler.

Also at the Water generator, there is a .44 Revolver, some ammo for it, a suitcase and some other extra and useful stuff like Radaway on top.
And the gun and the ammo respawn
With 5 rounds. 1 round was used by the skeleton. 😢
If you jump up onto the pump, there's more loot in a box, too!
Went to get that in my last game And couldn't find it. A few hours later realized dogmeat had picked it up when I wasn't looking and had been carrying it the entire time 😂

Did you talk about that one tower that has a full suit of power armor that scales with levels even up to X-01 power armor but is defended by a assaultron and sentry bot

With next gen update, there is no need for it. Grab the FatMan at the junkyard and do the Enclave Quest - instant X02 IV Power Armor.
yeah but you need to be level 28+ for x01 to start spawning, I think the only one that isn't level based is the quantum x01 in nuka world
I never climbed that tree onto the roof for that duffel bag.
I like to build, so i am deleating junk left and right as soon as possible.
Get the robotics expert perk from intelligence to make automaton easy

The fourth one when you get extra caps you can also go to the sides and see a 44.magnum and 5 44. Rounds
Don't forget the power armor next to the downed plane by the robotics disposal site too

At the generator place,if you climb up the ywllow thing there is aids and the skeleton has a gun and raiders are nearby,you can kill them easily

Don’t forget the Power Armor in the field across from the Junkyard too!
The molerat den also has a guaranteed spawn of Black Rim Glasses; look for the skeleton on a ledge near the fusion core. This will help your early character with Charisma to pass difficult speech checks. Like telling Wolfgang to give you his money and take a hike! (I've actually decided it is best to end the Trudy fight peacefully with Wolfgang getting his money. Then you get an additional trader at Drumlin Diner.)

If you are playing survival always start with a 6 intelligence. Boost it with the speacial book. Then the cave under red rocket has enough glowing fungus for some antibiotic production. There is a duffle bag of guns at the feet of the minute man statue just outside of sanctuary. Then a grenade is hidden usually in trash can on your way out of sanctuary using the bridge. A army helmet is just west of sanctuary in the swamp near a old apc.
The music is like the best part of anything.
I just discovered the pipe leading to the caps a couple days ago. I randomly saw the generator near the edge of the water and said, you know, Bethesda put that there for a reason. Followed it for the caps. Nice. It's little things like that that make Elder Scrolls and Fallout so replayable. Even 10-15 years later I'm still discovering things.
You forgot the crashed vertibird next door with power armor and a brown flight helmet in the front
Only thing i don't forget about in every playthrough is the Special book, didn't know there was a duffel on top of that house tho
Also at the robotics plant you can get two fusion cores. The inside the chest near the sentry bot, and by activating the self destruct sequence on the prototype sentry bot, it will drop a fusion core upon death.
Also the nearby Satellite Station has an extra mini nuke and a legendary radroach spawn, so save outside the entrance if you want to reroll your legendary drops.
I found all these by myself when it first came out 😂

For anyone who was struggling to find the Fat Man for a bit, it's gonna be on the cars behind the Sentry Bot

You literally described the first 30 minutes of every new character I've ever made. You can glitch the book easily right out of the gate to max your S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats, there's a .44 mag close to the water pump, as well as one of the 3 raider groups I farm for leather armor before going to Concord, and you can send the Sentry bot to USAF Olivia AND Fort Hagen, but USAF is stop number one for more mini gun ammo and immediately gaining Abernathy Farm's allegiance as well as a few legendary items/more upgraded leather armor with high luck. From there I skip to Grey garden and take their crops, before building everything Sturges asks you to do for him and marching down to Concord. The final step is decking out Marcy in raider armor and making her supply line Red Rocket, until I can send her to Coastal Cottage 😂
There is also a steamer trunk in the lake north of Sanctuary.
For survival playthroughs don't go in the mole rat cave. If you don't clear it the junk and glowing fungus respawns every few days.
If you look in the top of the same generator you can get a 44. Millimeter revolver and a radaway.

@@Foxingtonyou can jump onto the roof from somewhere, without progressing the quest. but a minigun without a good effect is ass anyways
If you can't upgrade your desited point wiht the "You're Special" book because it is already maxed out, get hammered on chems until your stat is knocked down below 10. Also, don't pick up any S.P.E.C.I.A.L. bobbleheads until those stats are level 10. Hello, permanent level 11.
I'm still surprised by people not knowing then when you lvl you can just put that skill point directly into your stats instead.
Finding the hellfire mk vi armor completely changed my game. I havent died once since I got it lol
You can permanently boost a stat to 11 using the SPECIAL book by first raising its base level to 10 and then lower it temporarily with a debuff from an addiction or survival mode, then choose that stat with the book. Once the debuff wears off, it’ll be 11. You can further boost it to 12 using the bobblehead for that stat.
Have over 1000 hours in fallout 4 and just learned about the roof duffle for the futst time
at the disposal ground, you can send the sentry bot to deal with the raiders at Olivia satellite station.

Did you know you can close the garage door at Red Rocket in the fallout 4? Look for the red button above the workshop.
Dont forget to activate the prototype sentry bot at the robotics disposal ground he will be your companion
The root cellar is a special area; if you uninstall a mod or DLC while you are in its cell and load your save, you will be dropped in there as a fallback.

Man I made the red rocket place my base just because it’s safe by the start and has a power armor station and I’m kinda new I like the tips and help wish I knew before I started

The place with the caps also has a .44 with 5 rounds as well as some rad x and rad away. Be cautious of the molerats however.

I don't know if this is true for everyone, but whenever I go for the caps stash in the fourth secret, I get attacked by a death claw every time. So be wary.

I played for 9 days play time before picking up the special book at level 178 I couldnt use it lmao
if that's because you're attributes are maxed you can lower them with chems or survival mode depletion and when they are temporarily below 10 you can use it then and recover over 10

Damn l tips find good ones like the New Vegas loot in Quarry Junction
You can duplicate the special book and get max level on all stats right from the start 😂 if you can all stats to max other than intelligence and save 9 books to max it out later but with low intelligence you get a perk that randomly gives you 3.5x xp so you can craft loads of stuff in sanctuary scrap it and rebuild it you can get max stats and a high level very early

most of the loot in containers and on enemies is random and based on your characters level, so sometimes leaving an easy to get container til later is better, like the duffle bags near the statue and on the roof... also, power armor pretty much sucks.
