JT that's not hydraulic hand brake. It just a pressure sensor to tell the ABS module to lock up applied brake to the rear wheel, in order to simulate hydraulic hand brake. And you need to be in drift mode for the computer to know it in mostly rwd power mode, and release AWD clutch to avoid powertrain lock up
I used to have a Ford Focus ST as my first car in Hong Kong. I do recall that ST was pretty impressive and nimble. The 6 speed box in that car also has prefect gearing ratio. Only wish Ford maintenance parts are more common in Hong Kong just like Honda and Toyota.
Yon don't need to push the clutch with the hydraulic drift handbrake, it's an electronic mod that tells the ecu to lock the rear wheel with ABS pump and open the AWD clutch at the same time, it will not bind the drivetrain.
