Florida can try whatever they want locally, it's still not DoT legal, and they're the ones that count since they've actually sent Homeland Security out to people's homes to confiscate and crush illegally imported cars. The R34 GTR's won't be street legal across the entire USA until 25 years after they were manufactured in Japan.
Coming from being in the minority being an rb owner here in the states for many years I can say wholeheartedly THANK YOU TRC for all this rb/skyline content lately! STOKED for the TRC 32 content.

Then again Florida has certain laws that allow many of those so called dream cars that are still federally illegal for other states to be owned and driven..
But you're right many R34s were imported thru motorex back years ago and can be seen driving around.. However, you can thank Mercedes for preventing those cars from being imported normally and the need to wait 25 years to get your hand on them.. Also, people love gouging prices on them so good luck finding a decent example that a investor (not a real car guy) got his/her hands on to raise prices and shit.

yeh its really hard for people in the US to realise how much nicer a R34 GTR is than all the JDMs until in person, yeh sure the supra has the straightline world record in a controlled environment but 90% of Supras arent that quick... every R34 GTR has this kind of presence, the all purpose Apex Predator imo. Interesting to see where they sit straighline wise, once the US becomes more comfortable with the RB and does some monster builds. 8:40
