Teachers LOVE a good t-shirt, and I realized I could turn that into a side gig. I used Crafted Threads for hilarious teacher-themed designs, grabbed a Cricut printer off Amazon, and started selling them to colleagues. It began as a joke, but now I’m selling to teachers across the district and even funding classroom supplies with the profits. If you're in education, this is a fantastic side hustle!
After becoming a parent, I wanted something creative and flexible to do during nap time. I started with a Crafted Threads design bundle, ordered a Cricut from Amazon, and made parent-themed shirts just for fun. Turns out, other parents LOVE custom t-shirts! Selling them at community meet-ups has been an amazing way to connect with others and make some extra money on the side. Highly recommend this setup!

Hi Mandy. Watched one of your videos for the first time. Value packed to say the least. As a beginner in POD business, I appreciate the valuable information you shared. Looking forward to watching the rest of your videos and will keep on following you. Stay safe and well
Such a great video thank you. I really enjoy your video so much information. I’d be really interested to understand copyright when I have tried to make T-shirts. I’m really not sure what words I can and can’t use for example a few months ago I looked up the word huggy HYGGE the word itself is copyrighted. Does that mean I can never use the word or can I use it in combination with other words? I really don’t understand copyright and would love you to make a video about that if you haven’t already.😊❤
I do in the description (STUDIOM) 😊 Keep in mind that Printify changed their eligibility earlier this year - codes like mine (and from others) only work for brand new users. Sadly too many people were abusing them, so they had to tighten things up!
Hey Mandy, I started my shop and I have a question. If I want to do cheer moms sweatshirts, can I add keywords related to valentines, moms gift, or coquette? Of course only if it’s in the final design.
Absolutely! That’s a great way to reach additional traffic using descriptive words as long as they are relevant to the design/product it. Think about what it is, who it’s for, and occasions for which it can be gifted/used (like valentines, birthdays or mothers day) 😊
Yep! Shop audits are only included in the annual or lifetime - but everything else is included as part of the membership regardless of which level you want to go with 😊
Thank you for this! One question if you don't mind. My shop is about 8 months old and I just got my first ten sales so I don't have enough to go off of yet. When we batch list, should everything still have it's own set of key words (not tags) or can you copy and paste from your other batch listings where it makes sense? I read that if you do that then your new listings "compete" with each other for lack of better words. Thank you. Your videos are so helpful ❤️
Congrats on your sales! Use those sales as initial clues of what’s working and make more of them! 🤩 Competing with yourself is a myth - you can absolutely reuse tags and titles as long as they’re relevant to the item and targeted customer. I typically will alter my title slightly to test different variations of it, but otherwise it’s fine 🤓
How do you backlink your other products in the description? For some reason I was under the impression this wasn't allowed. My shop is only a few months old, so I'm still learning.
Etsy doesn’t like external links, but links to other listings in your shop are definitely allowed and encouraged 😊 I usually say something like: “Check out the matching ____ here: ____” - and then just copy/paste in the link for the other listing. You could also link to a full section in your shop if you had other related products.
lmao luigi the shooter yea it’s a niche that exist i heard ppl irl talking about him so im sure u could get sales tho there could be some drama since not everyone agrees with what he did so u gotta be prepared if u do decide to try it

why give away your profits though , unless it helps you get more sales

Mandy, do you have a printify premium code offering first 30 days off?

@@studiomdesignsco thank you so much. Big hugs!
I see that happening with my digital files. So I pivoted, have things in the draft folder and then publish 1-2 daily without sharing keywords.

Is it a good idea to make merchandise about "Luigi"?
No that is copyright. Any characters, company, business, university, sport teams, anything that has ownership is copyright.
