Great advice, but Telling these people to buy wax is like telling a crackhead to buy crack and not smoke it.
It's down cause influencers and whatnot breakers are scooping them up for desperado prices. A lot of people are losing their ass on these high prices breaks and at the end of the day the buyers just want to get even. Breakers are ruining the hobby and they know it.
Not to mention not in the playoffs... Look at the peaks Antman's rookies hit when he was beating denver, then they dipped back down lol. The wemby hype will stir up again when his next season starts.

You’re right but they are flooding the market with his card. There’s just too many produced now Wemby and Stroud are in the new series 2 baseball they can’t maintain their prices when so many are being produced
There's no denying; Wemby prices are _DOWN_ !! However,...to keep this in perspective, the drop is _LARGELY_ due in part to the 'ole; "outta' sight,...outta' mind", complex (eg; the NBA regular season,...is over). It's not much different from what we see with _any/every_ ,...."off-season", sport. That being said, Wemby prices _are_ down.... _SLIGHTLY_ off what would widely be considered...."the norm". I don't have the time, nor the room to give examples....across the board, but you can reference a few of the "bigger names"....from the height of their respective seasons/performances,....to when their off-season, commenced (Ohtani, Acuna, Stroud, Purdy, to name a few). Will Wemby prices _continue to drop_ ...?!? In my humble opinion; *NO* . I think we're seeing just about..."the floor" on most of his cards. YES,...patience & cherry-picking can get you base Prizm RC's at lest than $40, _BUT_ ,...a solid,...well-presenting,...mint copy ain't gettin' much lower than fourty bucks. *_AND_* ; rest assured; when the 24-25 season-kicks off in a few short months, it's all but *GUARANTEED* ; his prices will *_TAKE OFF_* ,...as soon as he starts putting up the *MONSTER* numbers/performances....we _KNOW_ he's gonna' have....in his Year 2. (As an aside; I'm _LOSING MY SHIRT_ on Wemby,....atm. I _refuse_ to part with any of his key,...."in demand"...RC's that I have; raw and/or slabbed. ) Remember: *_PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE_* !!
There are sooo many counterfeit Wemby's coming from across the sea. This is causing the price to drop.
the amount of fake cards coming from China (used to be just Pokemon) - now all of them - is staggering.

A pop count of 10,000 sounds like a lot...but let's get some perspective. The average NBA team plays in a venue that holds up to 20,000 people. Let's say the only way to get one was through the team by attending a game vs getting them in packs or on Ebay. So that means if Victor Prizm RC are at 10,000 population, then ONCE at ONE game EVER in his ENTIRE career half the crowd from that 1 game and 1 game only would get one. Michael Jordan played a total of 1,072 games...if ONCE and ONCE only you could get a Jordan Rookie PSA 10 from the ONE game you were lucky enough to be at...and even then, only HALF the crowd got one...does that still sound overpopulated to you? Even if at each of his games they gave some out...they would have only been able to give 9 people per game out of a crowd of 20,000 one. My point is...there are going to be FAR MORE Victor fans than 10,000 by the time he is done. Way more than a supply of 10,000 can accommodate...or 20,000 or 30,000. Don't panic and sell your Victors...
But how many upgraded ones are out there? Way to many

His prizm cards are way overprinted in long term the numbered rc the sp hyper pulsar and fast break are gonna be the top prizm rc not the way overprinted prizm holo this is true for all rc cards goin back to 17-18
should I hold onto my silver prizm wemby or sell?
Sell now if you want to buy back at 20x the price in 5-7 years. I’m holding onto all of my 3 prizm silvers, my red ice and other parallels. Psa 10 silvers will be in the $10k range in 5 years, especially after he wins his regular season mvp, finals mvp, defensive player of the year and a championship ring.. all of those will be accomplished within 5 years.. mark my words…
Buying and holding sealed wax is one of the safest ways to invest in sports cards.

Sealed boxes are not the way to go. If Victor's prices drop than the sealed boxes will drop even more.

What are your thoughts on Julian Phillips the rookie for Chicago? I pulled a nice white ice of him and was wondering if I should sell it now or hold, or is he to new to make that decision? TFYT
99% of all the basketball players the same size as Victor Wembanyama ended up injured and out of the league within 4 to 5 years, so be careful with Victor....also just this year his card has been graded already 150,000 times....hopefully we are not going through another junk era.
Don’t invest in sealed wax, Victor is the only thing holding up this product and his best card has already been publicly pulled. Ceiling for these boxes is 2-3x
You have to remember that Panini had trouble printing the hobby so his slab value was artificially high for months, we’re getting into his true value now

Yup buy and hold wax, and buy the cards that have lower pop counts. I personally like his bowman autos which will have value due to his lack of rookie autos. Those have held up well and have much lower pop counts

I believe this is happening to Ant Man cards, too. Please don’t compare anyone especially the GOAT in MJ. U can always buy the dip. See how the hype has ruined the hobby for collectors and that’s why I’m staying far away from basketball and only buying certain players. Repackers are also buying up Wemby for their repacks which likely is at $250 for a $150 card in a PSA 10.Thats why when u get a new product with Wemby on it, sell it immediately to gain profit.

The prices were expected and should have come down. They were too high. But I firmly believe Wemby cards will have a great floor and will do very well next season. I’ve been starting to buy ones I want right now ✅

Yeah in essence it was a must but some are still up there in price as much as there's manu pulls of victor wembanyama there's also many who haven't even pull 1 single wemby so yeah every pennie cts.
