It's a damn shame you have such a low subscribers. You deserve way more , simply because how you approach, how you explain, how you teach in your videos and your incredible sense of humor. Simply awesome. Thank you so much and keep up the good work 🥁👍❤

@@tdpunduerat
I think, she is simply awesome..whatever she do she is doing it for us and she is doing it with passion. She deserves our support👍🥁
Oh thank you for the subscribe 😁
💯!!! I've been playing for a very long time, but she's actually explained a couple of things I struggle with in a manner that makes them easy-breezy!!! Love this stuff!!!
Your channel will catch FIRE! Keep going hard!
I'm a guitar player. I enjoy watching drum videos because they help me communicate better with drummers.
Just came across your channel, been drumming couple years at the age of 62.
Your approach and how you come across beats all the top channels hands down.
You deserve loads more subscribers and I will share as much as possible. Keep it up !!
+1 but I'm 64 😅
Thank you so much!! I'm glad you enjoy them, thanks for sharing😊

Ditto!
Short, to the point, and super sick. You're a TH-cam godsend. Thank you.
I'm 83 and still drumming and gigging. In my experience there many ways to play in 3/4 time. Modern numbers tend to have the kick and hat together on 1. Old Time ( fiddle lead ) usually feature the 1 on the ride with 2/3 as a double accompanied by a matching snare. Then the Viennese Waltz is played on the snare with kick on 1 and single stroke on 3 on the hat. Then our Jaz group added Paul Desmond's A Taste of Honey. It's done in 3/4 but with both sticks on the hat 1/8 notes with alternating triplets. Now I find out there's 3/4 in Rock.. whoda thought ?
I guess one is never too old to learn.😊
Great to know David thanks for sharing!
a taste of honey is a great example. have you heard the beatles cover?
@@Chris_yes
Just listened to it. Great and note the chorus goes from 3/4 to 4/4 and back. Neat
That's so cool you're still gigging at 83, inspirational!
@@rickskellig4652 thanks Pal
Oh boy, guess I found out where I'm gonna find learn different terms and patterns instead of just getting it by ear! Thanks for posting this!
I’m new and I love your approach on teaching drums , excellent!
I just stumbled upon your channel after being recommended one of your lessons in a short. I’m loving the content! Definitely going to be adding some of these grooves to my arsenal.
Very concise and super helpful!
I’m 67 years young..I was born with a natural rhythm and ability to hear almost any of it and replicate it, not rudimentary perfect but close. My mom and band director insisted I play trumpet.. have to wonder if I’d have been a session player.. I played trumpet till senior high school. Never took the trumpet home. I never could read drum music but your way of communicating is very helpful in understanding that which I knew but couldn’t apply.it’s all in how you present it and YOU are a great teacher. Revel in this ability.. it’s not something most can do
Thank you so much Paul! I find reading drum music can be much more simple that traditional pitched sheet music!
I've been drumming for three years now and I absolutely love your videos. You got mad drum skills 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤘🤘🤘🤟🤟🤟😍😍😍
I’m a guitarist and not a drummer but your lesson delivery is brilliant
Maybe it's time to learn the drums! 😉 www.alpynehq.com/book-online
same for me. Not into drumming yet, but coding some groves for my guitar stuff instead of using a metronome is more fun.
I love your different approach of teaching drums. You keep it interesting and entertaining. Rock on
Your a brilliant teacher 👩🏫
I’ve always been confused about time signatures, but now I’m starting to get it, I’ve played quite a few of them but never knew how they come up with the numbers Thank You🙏🏻🥁
Love the advanced shuffle triplet beat. One of the hardest and most fun beats to learn for me was the Fool
In the Rain beat: This almost nails it in the 3:4 which sounds sick. Nice work!!
Super direct and clear, looking forward to trying patterns 2 and 3!
Your videos are always so easy to learn. I appreciate that.
Love it, subbed so hard, will be playing along with these tonight, thanks!
You are an amazing teacher and drummer also! Thanks for the incredible lessons.
What a great teacher! Thank you
number three, three grooves on a 6/8, thank you for your inspiration.
As a drum teacher myself, loved your explanations and delivery here :)
love your channel, love your lessons.
Pretty great work, thank you!
you are the best teacher. thank you. i love in your lesson
Loved that. Great lesson. Thanks.
Awesome video, thank you!
Great lesson, clear and practical; your students are lucky to have you.
And yes….ALWAYS count out loud! 😁
THANK YOU!
Thank you!
❤Gracias Enma!!❤
Totally awesome
Awesome. Thanks.
Fantastic thank you
Love this lesson. Wonderfully clear to understand!
I'm glad I could help! 😊
I appreciate other teachers doing a great job!@@love_to_learn_drums
This was great. You should do a video of combining these grooves with 4/4 grooves to grove in 7/4
You’re the best one. Thanks.😘😘😘😘😘
Best shuffle lesson I've had! Thanks!
Been playing for a few decades now. Have some fun doing a video on 7 or some of the more obscure time signatures. My brain melted when I was learning them LOL
not many videos talk about 3/4 enough. to improve future videos, you may consider digging into your module more - tune, individual volume, room ambiance/reverb (i prefer none) and eq make a great difference. thanks for the great suggestions for snare placement and shuffle beat, i will definitely try them out
I think that might be a bit too much for us to do in videos at the moment, but it definitely sounds like something to keep in mind for the future. Thank you for suggesting! 😁
Bass player here...great video! Really well-explained and helpful, especially for being this short. 👍🏼
that 3/4 Perdie was absolutely scrumptious
Why am I watching this- I’m known as the time signature girl in my music class! Still an awesome video, keep up the good work and keep teaching those younger drummers!
Cool, so awesome
Excelente, muchas gracias
Big love.
This makes me want to get back into drumming again! Hello from New Zealand! Love the British accent 😛
Thank you very much for the lesson ❤
Thank you for watching ❤
Pro tip: count the second beat in 6/8 instead of 3/4. Much easier. The snare falls on 4 if you count in 6/8.
Perfect Moeller stroke technique.
❤❤❤Thank you so much very useful ❤❤❤
Thanks so much for this entertaining and extremely informative video, albeit still a way off dream!
As a 55 year drummer, all I can say is "Fantastic"!!!!!!
Great video
DAMN SHE JUST DID IT ON EM
Purdie tries to simplify the Purdie Shuffle in his workshops, but you just managed to break it down even simpler in an aside! XD
Toto's "Rosanna" has great shuffle drumming in it...
You had me at 4 beats are just too many. Good stuff, jam on sista~
Nice one!! I'm thumbs 831 and i subscribed. 🙂
Love it!
Purdie in 3 for extra credit YES 😍
4 is too many....
video ends at 3:59 : ) lol luv it!❤
It's always so depressing when I start a female friend on the drums and I have no female drummer for her to look up to in the beginning. Ofc there's the legendaries but in the beginning it's nice to have something in reach. Love your energy and way of explaining! Going to recommend you often! 😊
I love you from Thailand
Great
Nice
I'm a sucker for 3/4 beats.
After 52 seconds i was sold
💜💜💜💜💜 from India
Hi I'm like this video very nice
seems like when i play jazz just riffing alone with no other instruments i always enjoy 3/4 the most
You have a unique way of teaching.. can you make some video on improving weak hand? How much ever I try my left is slow and missing beats not as good as right hand.
I have a whole course on that! It's called 'left hand boot camp' I had the same problem!
Where can I find it? Struggling with the same issue, so frustrating! @@soundslikeemma
🔥🔥🔥🏆🙌
Which drum kit you are using?
Wow
For those, searching for odd signatures, I recommend Haken.
I won't even mention the overwhelming abundance of poly rhythms... You don't know, how to vibe in such moments... Unless you listen to given song, long enough!
💕💕💕
hi! what is this drum kit?
I am not sure if I am stupid or not, but I just cannot understand how to count time signatures. I have learned to play drums by ear and it is probably why I suck so bad at it :D
to me, this is mark of a great drummer...able to move in out of timing fluidly and interestingly.
Rosanna toto beat was cool
❤❤❤👌🥁
👍❤
Write it as usual notes for drummer (hi-hat /snare/kick
Who needs Drumeo now???
AGREED ur delivery is very relaxed and personable goes to show the person ur r so cheers to u oh ya...u can drum hehe
What is her drums model?
You always say you're welcome I say use nothing but bass drum and hi-hat
Une valse les amis! (translation: Waltz)
if you put 8th notes on the high-hat it feels much more like 6/8
🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁
🤘🤘🤘
my brain still can't figure out off beats, my right leg refuses to function independently
"Jolly good education on 3/4 (three/four) time signature, young Lady!! Indeed!"
~ "¥a'D¡g¿"
You should definitely consider being an actress. You're a natural.
But are not groove 2 & 3 in 6/8 ?
You stopped pointing!
You could use better lighting. Not frontal one, or at least not only frontal.
# 1 is a polka beat. pretty simple.
you look like the female version of Jazz Emu
