  • Hopefully you're watching this before you take yours apart. Let me make the mistake so you don't have to.
    This should apply to Citroen C1, Toyota Aygo and Peugeot 107

    Thank you very much for the video. I had to change one of the cables and it was very useful to see your video. Here's a tip that helped me: I secured the tensiometer with a clamp.

      This was literally one of the most frustrating things I've ever had to put back together.

    Helloooo Davy, you are a patient man indeed. Now would be a good time for you to improve the design and sell it to the makers? Make a few bob maybe. Get a reputation. Stay safe and keep up the good work. 👍

      They would want it cheap and robot friendly. They also don't want them to last. Just long enough for the warranty.

    Ive just bought a 2010 Peugeot 107 and the manual window winder on the passengers side doesnt work.I suspect similar issue in window regulator gear that has stopped it from turning.I may be able to source the regulator from U Pull It in York.

    Great video. Can you explain how easy this Is to remove this from the door? Mine is stuck in the fully closed position. I can see the Three fixing bolts to The door, but unsure about removing the bolts from the window and then if the unit will come out of the door easily enough. Any advise greatfully received!

    Would a 2010 Peugeot 107 window regulator and motor fit my 2014 model ? I've got the chance of the part from a break-up of a 2010 model of a Peugeot 107

    • @DavidMcLuckie
      @DavidMcLuckie  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They don't appear to have changed the door furniture between those years, so it's likely it will fit.

    Christ your mild in your language compared to me when I'm working on stuff like that, the whole video would either be swearing or beep, beep F*CKING BEEP
    Pondering whether to keep and sort the Saab or buy an impreza wagon (have a dog so it has to be a wagon)....Any buying tips / clear signs its shagged (that a non subie gearhead like me might miss) / mods you want to see / mods you don't want to see - Could be a decent video there perhaps.....?

    • @DavidMcLuckie
      @DavidMcLuckie  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh there was plenty of swearing the first time. I can tell you what to look for the blobeye, bugeye, hawkeye generations. But I've no experience with the classics or the new stuff. Except to steer clear of the first generation diesels.
