This is the album that got me into Oasis. Another great song from the album is Guess God Thinks I’m Able, a song written my Liam. Check out the live version on a British Talk show. It just Gem and Liam.
Easily one of the best non-Noel-written tunes in their catalog. And yeah, that has to be Andy Bell on the 12-string, and therefore probably the leads too
Turn on the sun and this Andy Bell fantastic Songwriter.... Noel on the bass guitar, Dave have ears like a black cat... of course I like all of Oasis to... ja fantastic music thank you very much
There’s so many songs of theirs I think you both would love that you’re yet to discover. Recently re-listening to Beady eye again, I think Dave would dig this one if you’ve not heard it already. All the best to you both, have a good Christmas m.th-cam.com/video/ugxlbZdmMXg/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUfYmVhZHkgZXllIGZvdXIgbGV0dGVyIHdvcmQgbGl2ZQ%3D%3D
Dave might be right. On Wikipedia for 'Don't Believe the Truth' it reads; "On some of the tracks regular bass player Andy Bell handled guitar, while Gem Archer and Noel Gallagher contributed bass to other songs."
Has anyone seen the oasis line up up for the 25 tour if not its zak, bell, gem, bonehead and the bros this is Zak or noel zak was the drummer on this tour.
Nice psychedelic sounding tune. Def Beatles influence on this one. Complex orchestration. Bass was cool Here's one for Dave to check from Canadian guitar God, Frank Marino. Great solo-ing. Vocals aren't too shabby either. You Got Livin' th-cam.com/video/-1pbHl5squQ/w-d-xo.html
You coulda shown them performing this as the set was very Christmassy, plus Zack is wearing a cool 60's jacket and Liam is just wearing a really cool jacket too. Oasis - Live at Channel 4 Studios - 05/15/2005 Although its lip synched, which is always weird seeing them lip sync stuff. They never performed this offically live sadly. Thanks!
I don't know if I'm crazy but i like how his voice sounds in songs like this. For example, a song that people don't seem to be too fond of is (Probably) All In My Mind. I know it's a different album but his voice does something pretty similar and I love it

GREAT track….this and Part of the Que…..often overlooked…..
One of my favorite songs of oasis. Vocals are killer
Finally!!! I knew Dave would like this one. one of the highlights of this album. imo, Oasis's last truly great album.
Your knowledge Dave to music is fantastic. You have a great ear and hear certain riffs, beats and pick who is playing base on sound. Incredible 😊
Love this album, some great tracks , Liam has a few!! This is a top song chorus is great! Guitar drums and Liam sound brilliant
Love this Dave geezer.
Top tune very underrated this one.Turn up the sun live from the Etihad Stadium Manchester 2005 would be a good choice for a reaction next.

Beady eye- Four letter word.
Live in Paris 2011
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I really liked this album. One you guys should consider is Let There Be Love. Hearing both brothers sing on that one is great stuff.
Here's Dave's reaction to Let There Be Love: th-cam.com/video/r77ljqLD_Lw/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for sharing this with me! “Pop ballad masterpiece” indeed, Dave!
Turn up the sun is a must
💯 x 10 agree! A Bell Will Ring is a tune as well
The importance of being idle too, so many good tunes. Their best work post 90’s
Tune Man 🔥

I think that is just a rumour. Nothing official, just click bait.
Bonehead is definitely there and gem, prob Andy bell too
@@Tinfintytin not sure about Andy. Maybe the bass player from High Flying Birds.
Turn up the sun. Please react to

Hate the verses. Love the choruses. Some of the best ever written.
one of oasis's more average songs for me 🙂
Liams voice was awful in this song and album. the live gigs in that era were shite. Great songs though! Great memories too!
