I love that Dave loves the band i grew up with as a teenager. The fact he comes fro America makes it so interesting to me as they were not that big after morning glory. Thank you both for this channel. I love it!
People have longed criticised Oasis for taking things from the Beatles but when they get it right like they do on this song it really is a beautiful thing.
Dave and his black cat, enjoying another BEAUTIFUL Oasis classic. 🐈 Life don't get much better than this folks. Much love, from Glasgow, Scotland. 🥃 🏴
Would love a Dave Oasis top 5! (so far). Great reaction! Love Dave's knowledge and appreciation and your picks, was thinking maybe just yesterday that Dave should respond to this, when I was singing it while cleanin up the kitchen (it wasn't playing, I just sing Oasis songs while clearing up the kitchen, different bands for different rooms it seesms). Weird ..and cool coincidence! Cheers!!!
I think the best follow up to this song, especially how Dave loved this one, is I'm Outta Time (if not done already). I always think of that and this song as some kind of pairing.
Also while we're at it, just listened to "isn't it a pity" another great track that passed me by until today. You should watch me react to it but nobody would want to see my glazed gormless expression for 4 minutes straight.
@JimmiBiscuit yeah that probably top of the obscure oasis tunes but others run close. Take Me Away, Getting Older, Carry Us All, Thank You For The Good Times and mid Be Here Now album tracks I'd throw in there too, Girl In A Dirty Shirt and I Hope, I Think I Know
Top of the Pops in the UK made bands mime songs for a long time. You should check out Oasis "performing" Roll With It. Noel mimes Liam's vocals up front while Liam "plays" lead guitar and mimes Noel's backing vocals. It's great.
Oasis did the same thing with play back on Top Of The Pops(tv show) for Roll With It in the 90s, noel mimed the vocals of liam and Liam mimed noels guitar playing
I've never heard them play it live. It was t.v shows they mimed it. Once on top of the pops they swapped places noel mimed singing while liam mimed playing guitar 😆
Hope someday he react to "To Be Where There’s Life" and "Shakemaker". It´s great to see when a person gets Oasis, people usually get it or hate it, no middleground.
If you wanna see Oasis taking the piss out of having to mime, check out them doing Roll With It on Top of the Pops. Noel mimes Liam's singing whilst Liam pretends to play the guitar.
Just checked the UK Charts official page and it looks like it was kept off the top spot by Pussycat Dolls - Stickwitu. So that’s a little taste of what the landscape of UK music was like back then. The rest of the top 10 isn’t easy reading either tbh.
This song was actually released in 2005 but was based on a demo called “It’s A Crime” which was leaked in 1999. They never did it live, think it would have killed Liams voice in 2005 😂 Try the song “Bag It Up” from their last ever studio album, Dave will like the drums 👌
Shecky, Liam and Noel never took these shows seriously. Here's an example on TOTP with Roll With It 😂😂😂 Be sure to show Dave as well. th-cam.com/video/w6M93SDCl-g/w-d-xo.html
It was either Madonna or pussycat dolls that kept this from being number 1 in the uk , can’t remember which one but I do remember it being some bag of pop shite. Oasis in 2005 had somewhat of a chart renaissance, their previous 2 singles released from Don’t believe the truth “ Lyla” and “ The Importance Of Being Idle” both went to number 1. As did the album but the albums always did.
very pretty. At first the tune reminded me of that new Beatles tune, this song is a whole helluva lot better than that one, though. Classic and spare instrumentation. Here's a good new tune for Dave from German Prog metal band, Vanden Plas with really nice choruses and guitar solo. The tune is, My Icarian Flight" th-cam.com/video/RNiXdcgzCYE/w-d-xo.html
Dave it's a huge shame Oasis never did this live in concert a missed opportunity in so many ways Id love to ask Noel or Liam why as i believe it would of been a show stopper the fans would of just ate up !
Amazing song! Always love hearing new Oasis songs and I can definitely hear the Beetles and George Harrison psychedelic influence which I really enjoy from them! Here’s another Incubus tune would love to hear Dave’s reaction to from Make Yourself album: th-cam.com/video/D637UvAWZwQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Kg68ejOk4_r9n84u
If you want a good example of bands being annoyed that they cannot play live, watch smells like teen spirit on top of the pops. They could not play instruments live but Kurt was allowed to sing, he made a mockery out of it.
Brilliant song! Can’t believe it’s not seen as one of their best.
Never dug it cos so it's obviously Beatlesque.
@@arthurvezinoasis are ten million times better than the Beatles
Dave almost got choked up there. I love it. He truly understands oasis and he loves Noels song writing as much as millions did.

The drummer on that song, album and tour was Ringo Starrs son Zak Starsky!!
He was my favourite Oasis drummer. Quality drummer and looked cool as f***

@@Abdulrahman-gs1wsxJournalists are morons. People pay far too much attention to them.
I see Dave reacting to an Oasis (or Oasis-related) song, I just click, watch, like, and comment. It’s as simple as that! 👏
Dave and his black cat, enjoying another BEAUTIFUL Oasis classic. 🐈 Life don't get much better than this folks.
Much love, from Glasgow, Scotland. 🥃 🏴
There’s a reason that’s on my favourite playlist. Love that song. Massively underrated
Check out "Guess God Thinks I'm Abel" the live Late Show version. A song off the same album as this one, and was written by Liam.
Also one of my faves. Massively underrated tune. Keep em coming guys 👏
I got chills when Noel starts singing.
Would love a Dave Oasis top 5! (so far).

An absolutely beautiful song!! Underrated album song great tunes on that album!! Long live oasis !!! Liam sounding brilliant as always!!!

@samechick I like the music video for I'm Outta Time, you should react to it that version 👍
This whole album was absolutely stunning.
How did I miss this gem? I seen them live and considered myself a big fan but didn't know this was even a thing. Mega.
Also while we're at it, just listened to "isn't it a pity" another great track that passed me by until today. You should watch me react to it but nobody would want to see my glazed gormless expression for 4 minutes straight.
If you haven't yet, check out the Liam ballad "I'm Outta Time"! With video if possible. It's magical
Highly recommend 'Let's All Make Believe'
Yes! Maybe the best 'obscure' Oasis song for me. It's simple yet magical.
@JimmiBiscuit yeah that probably top of the obscure oasis tunes but others run close. Take Me Away, Getting Older, Carry Us All, Thank You For The Good Times and mid Be Here Now album tracks I'd throw in there too, Girl In A Dirty Shirt and I Hope, I Think I Know
Liam's best vocals IMHO
@@LambriniSupernovaIt's Good To Be Free should be on that list

I'd also recommend checking out the official video to 'All Around The World' a very long song but I believe the only Oasis video to win an award
Nah wonderwall won best video at the Brit’s in 96

It's happening 😎
Nice recation.
Good version to choose. I think they cut out the second Liam verse from the radio single version which annoyed me!
Keep the dream Alive is another gem off of this album.
I would recommend Love Like A Bomb.
Everyone who goes to a liam gallagher show or a noel gallagher show is buzzing having an amazing time, but would soon be at a oasis show
love it when they. both sing on a song. too rare sadly.
That one hit you 👌

This is their a day in the life song
Noel gallagher, dead to the world from his new album council skys. Amazing angelic please react dave, love the channel, from the UK 🇬🇧
Made of Stone by The Stone Roses will not disappoint.
Also She Bangs The Drums. Stone Roses were electric. 🥶
Another good song from that album is A Bell Will Ring. (written by Gem)
This should be their 1st song on their reunion tour for so many, many reasons. But it won't be.
Not sure how it's from 1999 when Don't Believe The Truth came out in 2005, and this was probably the last single off it
That's when it was written.
The start sounds a lot like Retrovertigo from Mr Bungle

Radiohead and Oasis = Top Notch.
Great song. Shame they never did it live.
Only one is the “Top of the Pops” performance, but they have this stupid lip sync policy for their guests.
crazy missed opportunity if they reform add this to the set list !
Let’s all make believe next? Or who put the weight on my shoulders
Is it safe to say ure Oasis fans now...we gotta recruit u yanks one by one lol...

2005 song, not 1999 :)

@@samechick 100% wrong. They didn't release music in 1999. Don't believe the truth album was 2005. Was my favourite Oasis album.
She’s saying they written it in 1999, which they did.
It was released in 2005, but Noel wrote it many years prior.
