Placing the wearee over your shoulder or at burping height to guide them down into a front pocket can get a little tricky once they're really tall. I mean it feels like their legs extend forever!!! Thus, I find it easier to wrap around them (plus, they seem to be able to hang on). So here's a video on "Never Too Big for Front Wrap Cross Carry" with an almost five year old who will never be too big for good 'ol front wrap cross carry.
