I wanted to comment about those Goldcursed Weapon/Armory crates. After popping a few the other day, you can control what they give you. I was scared to buy one of the armor ones, because I was under the impression that they give a random light/med/heavy piece. They do give random stats, but you can control what type it is. If you buy a chest one, it will give you the light/med/heavy depending on what you are currently wearing. So, if you are wearing a light chest piece, it will give you a light chest piece. I also found out that the attribute it gives you is based on what your current magnify is set to. I bought several of the 2-handed crates, because I just needed a higher level spear to use for a DPS spec I wanted to build. I would always get a spear because that is the 2hander I had equiped, but it would always be con. My main spec is tank, with magnify set to con. When I changed my magnify to dex, the rest of the spears popped with dex. This is good info to have when opening those boxes. Sorry for the long read. Try it yourself and make an updated video!
@@OGNetro No after spending/gambling many doubloons, I can confidently say that the attribute that is applied to the item when opening the crate is based off what you have currently set to magnify in your attributes. The armor weight of an armor crate you open is also based on what weight you are currently wearing in that slot. Out of the 10+ crates I have opened for 2 handed weapon, I received 9 hammers and one axe, while having a hammer equipped for all of them. I think the current perks on your armor when opening the crates can affect the opening as well. In the beginning I had a chest piece with ice harnessing on it. I have no need for this in my build as a tank. I kept getting some type of harnessing on all the chest pieces I was gambling. Decided to equip a low level purple heavy chest that had health and refreshing. The next chest piece had health/refreshing and enchanted ward. So, I feel like the current perks on your equipped gear might play into the RNG of those crates as well.

The apex chest is guarenteed loot bias 725 and legendary, so you would of got a spear either way unless you have two twohanded melee weapons on then it may gamble between the two. The perks are still a gamble but thats it.
