Yes, lots of options for both. TONS of difficult expeditions for PvE, then multiple PvP options (open world, 20v20 OPR matches, 3v3 arenas, and even 50v50 wars over territories). Best of both worlds.

Yea, at least it’s not a monthly subscription though like some others. I was okay with spending it, was worth the content IMO. Check out the beta this weekend and see if it’s worth it if you’re considering trying it out again

View it as a refresh of the game. There is only “New World: Aeternum” once launched. For pc players, as long as they have the last DLC, the wake up on launch day, load in, and it’s new world aeternum. For console, it’s a new game. New servers will be available that’s cross-platform. I would view it as basically a “rebrand” and a launch for the game on console. Lots of beginner-parts of the game updated with the launch.

It’s a good time, the beta is next weekend if you wanna try it out before buying!

@AKZL76 if they start on a new server, yes

They have the option to, but most won’t. There will be BRAND NEW servers starting the day the game launches that support console-only or cross-play. Existing players cannot transfer there, so everyone on them will be brand new characters starting at level 1

Continue the main story quest and you’ll be able to see t your faction soon, a quest will appear where it’s identified by one of the three faction logos and that’s when you’ll know you’re headed in the right direction!

@@Savvvo well im already lv 20 and the quest didnt come from MSQ but i got in evenfall and pick it up manually from there but i can't pick up the azoth water im getting legit 2 shot from all the mobs in that area.

@vevymotivation dang :/ you might just need to level up a little more before trying again then. You should be able to do the starstone expedition soon which should help you get some nice new gear!

Yes - you can craft gear and sell it. You can get lost cutting trees and chilling out. You can fish legendary fish. You can mine rare ore. You can forge weapons. You can do it all :)

You can get the $80 one if your really want, but it’s just some extra skins. There’s SO many skins in this game that I don’t think it’s worth it. Even if you drop the $20 in the in-game store, you’ll have more options to choose from.

You can play it with friends from beginning to end, and onwards! Yes, you will see all players all around you consistently!

It will have A LOT of people running around (especially the first few months). I believe that if you wanted to play solo, you can get through the main MSQ without needing to group up. Unsure on the whole internet connection thing, but basically if you want to play this game solo, you could if you REALLY wanted to.

@@Savvvo I just kind of want that big MMO feel and populated world. I wasn't sure of the difference between what it was and what it's going to become if I'm honest haha. I really enjoyed the leveling, but struggled to stay interested once I hit end game...

@@Based7.62 oooo my bad haha. Transmog is essentially a way to tranform the appearance of certain items to look like something else. For example, if I love the way a pumpkin helmet looks, I can "transmog" any helmet to use the appearance of the pumpkin helmet. It's entirely focused on the appearance of the equipment your character wears!

Every guide is in the process of being updated, and will be a great resource in October and onwards. www.icy-veins.com/new-world/beginner-tips-and-tricks The “toxic” question - the PC community felt “burned” from the devs after a handful of promises of new content and announcements coming, but nothing coming after quite a lot of time. There was a LOT of hype built up for the recent announce on the launch of console, but they hyped up the wrong audience. PC players were expecting huge game updates and new content, and in reality that didn’t really come and it didn’t meet the expectations that were built up. Regardless, the game is great and it’s worth checking out. They’ve been investing a lot on the main story quest, so everyone is hoping that means they have more time and resources for more pvp content and end game content moving forward.

@@snowwwy1985 it really just comes down to market prices. I was able to buy red meat at one point for .01 gold each, which is not the case today. If notes are cheaper than certain food options and produces more XP, run with it for sure!

I’m excited for it, it’s an amazing game and will feel sooooo good on console!

It’s worth checking out the open beta next week, I also have a video that shows the first ten mins. The graphics are not similar to RuneScape, but I do see a ton of similarities - even the nostalgic, great feeling you get when chilling and cutting down trees or fishing haha!
