Thats good too know, do you know if they plan on doing more interesting Maps? This one is quite bland. Would love an Actually Lava, hellish, blazing volcanoes, fire cracks Map with Old tall giant ruins of demonic history. Love to see a map more well detailed.
I had a look at Armello and I have never played it but just reading about it, the art design and the very positive reviews. I see potential in this company. They don't look like a budget game company. I can tell this company wants to make unique, deep mechanics. I've been playing AOW4, Frostpunk, Planetfall and Zephon. Definitely looking at ES2. But a 4X game in Hellish would be a nice change. I'm so happy strategy games are starting to become more noticeable. This company should do exceedingly well.
Questions to consider when evaluating the game on release: are the diplomacy/politics and such an actual thing, with webs of interests, room for game theory implementation, or is it just a flavour for basic mechanics like it usually is in 4X games and an excuse to implement asymmetric winning conditions?

Thou as a remake, I do feel it needs more content. It is very replayable. But at some point you will see eveything in game.

the game already has 3 maps variations. there is a volcano full of lava map set-up
