Great video. Thank you. One accessory that you didn't mention is a pencil-like brush with fiberglass bristles. I've had trouble with my EVF contacts. With this brush I can clean the contacts on my EVF and on my hot shoe. It works!
Oh... thank you for the tip! Very smart! I do not use the EVF that much so I never had any problems... but that makes absolute sense to keep those contacts clean as well... Thank you!!
@@flofroschmayer, I have two of Leica's Noctilux lenses. To shoot those lenses "wide open" I need my EVF - and its gold contacts! - to allow me to focus those lenses VERY accurately. Without my EVF - for me - it's impossible to focus those two lenses when they're "wide open."
A great presentation! All I've added is a soft-touch shutter button and the thumb rest. The rest of the stuff is nice, but for me not necessarily helpful. Thank you for your post.
Great video - I use both the Visoflex and the Thumb Grip on my M10 - not at the same time of course, however some of my lenses are better shot with the Visoflex, which is why I use it only occasionally. I was wondering whether the constant on and off with the thumbs grip, exchanging it with the Visoflex would cause the hotshoe to expand over time? Have you any experience on that matter?
I have no problem so far. The Visoflex is no issue in my oppinon... With the thumb support, I would say, as long as you do not force it when taking it off or putting it on, you should have no problem for a long time. Just be sure to put it parallel to the shoe, and do not force it if it does not sit correctly. One advantage of Leicas is that they are very robust.
just to let you and others know, the M10 protector will not fit on the M11. The tripod bush is in a very slightly different position so will not attach to the base.
