Major Kudos to you for not just providing the above video, however, all of your videos give a different spin for us owners of this special vehicle to appreciate. You are most definitely respected, and my hope is that others in the world of TH-cam find and subscribe to your channel. As a fortunate owner of my ninth straight Bimmer (three European Deliveries and a Performance Delivery on my 2021 M3 Comp). My current (2025 M4 Comp convertible), was fitted with a DINAN mid-pipe and exhaust prior to delivery and it sucks. I had a MAD valve controller added which helped minimally, and I still have a valve rattle, the manufacturer refuses to address. After watching your video, I'm ordering the same mid-pipe this week. Thanks for sharing your journey with us, we need more smiles in the world around us.
Wow I appreciate the kind words … this comment was a pleasure to read 😁😁😁 Stuff like this makes me want to keep making TH-cam videos … I’m glad I was able to be of help and I hope you’re able to get the rattle sorted!
Bro, the smile on your face says it all! I have my Dravit Gray 2025 M4 Comp xdrive just starting production now in the last week and I can’t wait to take delivery of it in the next couple of months. Thanks for all the info you’re putting out and I’ll certainly sub to your channel and look to you for some guidance on mods after break-in period. Keep up the great work and stay safe!
Wow…first exhaust mod that I’d actually consider doing to my LCI, thanks! First thing I did when I got the car home was permanently fix the exhaust flaps open which helps a bit from stock. Looks like you put the pre-LCI M4 badge on the back too, very nice. The wing is also great…might have to be a triple copy cat 😅
Good eyes!! Yeah I put the pre lci badge after I got the car ppf’d because the new badge looks kind of cartoonish to me haha. I went through like 6 diff exhaust options after watching a lot of videos haha glad I ended up going this route because the tone got more bass rather than treble. If you end up choosing an MAD product if you use code automaz at checkout on the MAD website you’ll get 5% off
What's up new sub here. I like most things you've done to the 2025 G82 you have. Midpipe and valve controller is a must with these cars. I have a 2025 G82 allocation and right now it's in Order received so gonna be a little while. Great videos man. You still like the MAD midpipe you had installed? It's hard to really get the sound over video raspy??
Yeah you’re right the camera def doesn’t capture everything and the exhaust is def louder in person. I might leave the axle back portion stock after the front mount intakes
Sounds awesome! Great video. 2 questions. Do you get any drones at any speed or at any modes? Also, how much louder is it in comfort mode while cruising? I daily my car to work every day, and just curious if it’s too loud for long distance driving. Otherwise it sounds great
Heyyyy. So it sounds stock in comfort mode. I think it’s significantly louder with the valves open and in M1 If you want to hear nothing at all close valves and put in comfort and you low key might sound like a Tesla 😂😂 all jokes aside it is very very quiet in comfort
Drone is subjective and for me I don’t think it drones. You might feel drone if you’re sensitive to it in general at with valves 100% open and right below 3000 rpm
Thank you!! I keep my valves 100% open at all times :) if you end up purchasing an MAD product , using code automaz will get you a 5% discount at checkout I’ve heard that some people like it with the valves at 75% percent open … I’ll try that out and get you some feedback
@@Automaz_ thanks for the reply and discount code! Do you experience drone with this setup? Heard some feedback from others saying slight drone between a certain rev range. Love your car and channel!
Drone is very subjective but there’s pretty much no drone. If you’re super sensitive to drone I’d say with my valves 100% open at all times and right above 2k rpm maybe the slightest bit but not really. You can’t get anything less drone wise than this setup other than stock is how I’d answer that
Congrats on the new car! You won’t void your warranty by changing the exhaust since that is a simple bolt on. Your warranty will be void if you tune the car and ship off that ecu to get unlocked
I haven’t tried equal but from the reviews I have seen I believe single is the way to go. The real trunk lip is the MHC M4 style lip from R44 performance
I’m not sure about the sku … just go to their website and look for the resonated single midpipe. You can use code automaz at checkout for a discount if you’d like. If you message me on instagram I can paste you the link
@@Automaz_ Thanks. Picking up my new m4 in August. Appreciate all the info you provide on your channel. Really helps following what mods you’re doing. 👍
That’s a uniden r8 bro. Funny part is the radar came loose a little so normally it’s sitting flush with my roof liner. Check out my instagram IG: automaz_ I have some pics there. You can get the suction from eBay for like $8 and it sits very flush
All OEM stuff can be put on if needed but none of this causes any issues with the warranty. You’re just just changing out a pipe. The only thing that will void warranty is if you tune the car. Other than that a dealership must be able to prove an aftermarket market caused the issue you’d want to take in for warranty replacement
Drone is very subjective but to me it’s not there. But generally speaking I think this resonated single midpipe is the least amount of drone you can get
Question your black plate with white lettering is that a custom plate or is that standard for your state meaning the( black background and white font )It’s sick if it not standard and custom have the cops ever bothered you?
I’m thinking front mount intakes first then the axle back . If I tune the car I’ll do downpipes but I don’t want to void my warranty from the tune … tough call Otherwise downpipes on stock tune won’t do much
@@Automaz_ understand, I’m thinking of doing it just for the sound. Currently have a Valvetronic equal length + Akrapovic slip-on and there’s serious rasp between 3-4 rpm. Thinking of doing downpipes with my current setup and then eventually switching to a MAD resonated midpipe to reduce the rasp.
I think downpipes will make your setup even raspier and the volume will get exponentially louder at the same time. I’d suggest switching out the Valvetronic for the MAD resonated midpipe first to gauge where the tone is at
All the exterior gloss black parts needs to go carbon fibre there shouldn't be any plastic that whole rear diffuser needs to go carbon side skirt aswell needs a carbon front lip and CSL kidney grills in carbon that side vent piece with the M4 on it carbon too mirrors aswell , the diffuser looks kinda weird having only the middle piece carbon and the rest gloss plastic
Still thinking on it. I got a new carbon grille and double slat carbon front bumper scoops that I’ll install with the front mount intake. As for the side skirts and the rear corner pieces I’m thinking about getting it matched to factory Brooklyn grey and then adding a carbon side skirt extension under
@@Automaz_ yes if your not making the gloss black plastic carbon it's better to colour match them because it'll just look crappy having 3 different types of look on that car Carbon is grey then you have Black Gloss plastic and then Factory paint i also agree carbon is not necessary everywhere but the full lip infront carbon the kidney grills CSL style carbon mirrors colour matched sideskirt carbon rear diffuser carbon

No issue with check engine lights?
No issues or CEL. CEL comes on if you do Catless down pipes due to the o2 sensors

What’s the difference between resonated and the non-resonated midpipe?
Resonator gets rid of a lot of that unwanted noise / rasp
