The Alcantara steering wheel looks sportier and cooler, I must say, but it gets dirty really quickly if you don’t pay attention. That’s why I think a leather wheel seems like a more reasonable choice.
@Automaz_ you forgot to mention , that because of the upgrade to 8.5, if you spec the executive package like you did, these LCIs come with Augmented Reality Video navigation option as well, hence you will notice a new windshield camera installed from the factory which serves for this option alone.
@@Automaz_ IMO, driving 80mph in a straight line behind other cars or sitting in traffic at a crawl I’d say isn’t exactly engaging. Go to a track or Autox your car to get a real feel for its performance capabilities.
I agree. If you spend 30-40 minutes in bumper to bumper traffic daily, the adaptive cruise is essential. There is nothing engaging about going 20 miles an hour in stop and go traffic for 40 minutes.
Bucket seat, if you look at the leather where you sit on, begins to lift up and it’s horrible…. And I’m talking about somewhere around the 10,000 mile mark and those bucket seats are pretty but they’re super uncomfortable with those humongous side bolsters they’re worse than the GT three.
I was curious if you did the extended shadowline trim delete? If not, could you explain what it does? The site doesn't give much information about it. Currently about to place my order for a G80 M3 Comp. Thank you for your time and this video helped me a bunch!
Glad the video helped you! So if you look at my car you see how my side skirts are gloss black and then there are some black pieces on the rear. What the extended shadowline trim delete is it makes all that the same color as your paint. Basically color matched. Low key it looks pretty good! But i didnt know if they’d take away my Shadowline headlights if I did that. Also I like the black side skirts and black pieces in the rear as well. I’ve seen some folks get that color matched and it does look great too! Also the delete would make your mirrors the same color as your paint
@@Automaz_ So I went with the exterior carbon package, so it makes me wonder if I should take that off just in case that removes all the carbon bits. I thought it was strictly for the lights and not any other exterior pieces. Thank you so much for your reply! I really appreciate it!
I would suggest calling your sales advisor and confirming this. I mean if they charge you $4700 for the carbon package there’s no way they can remove it due to the extended shadowline delete haha
I have a video posted on my TH-cam channel. I posted it a month or two ago take a look at that to see what the midpipe and sst valve controller set to open sound like
2023 x drive comp is an amazing car. 2024 is when the screen display changed though The 2025 has 20 additional horsepower, new steering wheel and new tail lights and new head lights Can’t go wrong either way
Thanks bro! Yeah I plan on getting KW HAS kit to lower it and then 18 mm spacers all around. Think I’ll need lower profile fender liners so I don’t rub since I got Pirellis instead of Michelins
One must have option in my opinion is Galvanic Embellisher For Controls, which is basically metal buttons for the windows and mirrors controls instead of black plastic. Much more elegant and nicer to use
Buckets are the worse lol, i've been in it, and I wasn't comfortable personally, so it varies on everybody. . nice car tho. I own bmws I love them but hate all the add ons they make u pay for. I got BK grey on my x3 it's a great color and hides a lot of dirt
Best option is to get the 2025 RS3, but other than that :) I get all the driving options, X-drive, parking assist, driving assist with auto follow... etc... I would NEVER get the carbon buckets, If you are the only person getting into your car, then you do you, if you value your friends and family, get the standard sport seats. I track about 5 times a year, on average, the regular seats are more than fine, and for street driving, the carbons are just dumb, uncomfortable and do not improve the street driving experience unless you are doing Forumula 1 :) I am glad you love them though, since you bought them! I also agree on the full leather. If you don't get the full leather, get black extended with the sensetec dash... looks like full leather that way for about 2K in saving... but only works well for black. I get ceramic breaks, cause... track. Also recommend getting the spartenburg delivery and the Mdriving school. about a 2500K option, WELL WORTH IT. I like the bling of the carbon package, but i don't like paying for it . Still, i reiterate, the 2025 RS3 will be the best street car and a solid track car that you can buy new. The M cars are all engine (S class) and mediocre handling (C or B class) . The Audi has a unique engine that is not nearly as fast as an M3/4 but I would argue it is S class because you can run it all day at the track without overheating, and that noise, WOW. The handling of the Audi is exceptional... There is a 4 second difference on a lightning lap between the RS3 and the M4CSL. That will go away with the new 2025.
With regards to the carbon seats and family and friends … I am very paranoid when they get into my car because I don’t want them to mess up the side bolsters haha. But other than that it’s just my wife and I and she has mastered how to get into the sides without damaging the side bolsters lol. As for the rs3 I may be a little bmw biased haha I think at this $100,000 price point you can’t really beat 523 hp and 479 torque and everything this car offers
Bucket seats are best and worst option. If you have larger back, DO NOT take bucket seats. Those are terrible for larger people. I am not talking about 200kg guys, but 90kg guys with litle bit lager back. After few minutes, it hurt so much. For me terrible. I just cannot imagine larger guys or people who train in the gym little bit more. And it is very hard to get in or out, ok for the driver, but if you take any older person, very hard task. But for track and if you are smaller person or have thin back, those are great.
The five features of ventilated seats executive package carbon ceramic rotors (worth it in the long run) M performance drivers package add individual color ( make that M unique) will definitely holds value a bit better when selling it and bonus interior full leather upholstery
Individual colors def do hold a better value! The $900 or so the m performance drivers package is def not an expensive hit and worth it if you’re going to drive the car in rwd since you’ll need traction. Personally for me i wasn’t going to use it but looking back on it ,at the price point and considering you can’t add it later this is another option you should add just incase you will use it. You’d be surprised nowadays people looking to buy this car used are specifically looking for carbon buckets first haha. Most people I know don’t want the CCBs at the $8500 price tag and for people looking at used , the cost to replace the rotors are about $4000 each
i don't agree with any of your recommendations...to me, they're all personal preferences. just saying for a friend. what you really need is a good set of brushes to clean your wheels...appreciate the 4k.
@@Automaz_ Standard seats - more comfortable. Never plans to track it. Front ventilated seats. Drive recorder...that only works when you push a button or in an accident.
