i really like how Laskos listener doesnt just feel like how Freelancer is in the non canon spicy Lasko audios, like its incredible how Erik gives the listener characters so much personality 🥺

Exactly!!! It kind of annoyed me how Freelancer tended to cut Lasko off, i like how this new Listener seems to be more patient with him and just let's him ramble to his heart desire while paying attention to every word his says. I think their dynamic is so cute !!!!!
I like to think the difference is because this Listener is a Water Elemental (I get mad Sailor Mercury vibes) where Freelancer is a lot of *energy*.
I don't think Freelancer ever intended to be annoying about "cutting Lasko off" they don't mind cyclical rambles and are fairly used to them from Caelum and even early on in their friendship. It's probably a trait picked up from Gavin tbh.
