    Maybe this works for Classic sites (which are going away later this year), but it's not there for the new Google Sites. There is a Settings button, but I couldn't find anything about forms there.

    I just want a simple form that someone fills out and it gets sent to an actual email address. Why is this so difficult in google sites? I don't want an email hyperlink where you click and it opens up their email to contact me. Just a form where it asks the person their name, email, phone, etc and they fill out the form and hit "send" and it gets sent to an email of my choice rather than sending the responses to the google form responses section.

One thing I want to know that "i" Button has also feature which can be used for reporting abuse by users, that can be negative for us and Google may block our domain or site. I'm starting a small business. Should I build and publish my website by Google sites or not? Please suggest 🙏 thanks in advance

    • @FlippedClassroomTutorials
      @FlippedClassroomTutorials  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The report button is there for good reason. If your website is a legitimate website and doesn't infringe on copyright or break any of the policies set out by Google I wouldn't worry about it. I would not worry about false claim, Google would not take action without properly checking themselves first.

    The video from FlippedClassroomTutorials while useful seem oriented towards teachers with paid Google Suite accounts.
    I also could not find the Contact option as shown here. I did find this other video useful. She talks fast but provides all the information.
    th-cam.com/video/H-uNRgHDabA/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=TheSocialGuide
    I was puzzled by the Send Button in Google Forms. That is is you want to send a form via email etc. In this case you can ignore it. After creating a Contact form it will show up in the Forms option of your Google Sites editor.
    After you publish a Site with a Contact form then you can return to Google Forms and reopen your form there. There is a Responses tab and a handy option to send responses to Google Sheets.
    (Probably I should make my own teaching video!? 😏 While I am new to Google Sites and Google Forms, I have decades of software experience so amd finding the learning curve to be short).
