Up until now Acnologia still gives me chills , this episode is like one of those jrpg moments when you will face the final boss in the middle of the story

I don't believe she can use them at that point though. They take to much energy and she has to slowly adapt to her stronger forms again after not using any substantial magic for years.

This is what i meant. Fairy Tail is so wholesome & emotional. It really has a lot of heartwarming moments in every arc. From someone who watched quite a lot of anime, Fairy Tail is not as bad as what others claim, periodt.
One of the BEST timeskips in anime is about to arrive. I'm not talking about the arc they're on now but the next one. That's when this show becomes peak and just gets better. I also wish they didn't skip the ending. Hands down my favorite FT ending and it has no spoilers

I love the fact Achnologia doesnt even go full force against anybody at anyone time. Not only is he the strongest Character in FT but has one of the best backstories ever...Once yall finish the Tartous arc you have to watch the Dragon Cry Movie it will explain alot of what happens afterwards.
This is probably the most memorable episode in Fairy Tail, and one of the most memorable of all time.
It's hard to think of any scene that made me feel as hopeless and helpless as this one, and there is only one other example I can remember of a villain introduction that brought a sense of calamity like Acnologia's (It is in Chainsaw Man if you're wondering, the anime hasn't gotten that far yet. For manga readers: "name list" is what I'm talking about.), but even that one didn't look as unbeatable, as terrifying as Acnologia was.
You put it perfectly. "This was the first time Natsu said everything would be okay, and it didn't convince me."

Ive watched over 100 anime fairy tail is an amazing anime but it would've been a thousand fold better and would've been on the same level as the big three if only they actually killed characters that were beloved and they had alot
I don't think Mist is powerful enough to teleport a whole group of people at once and their distance between the land is too far and requires enormous of magic powers. And if there anyone he would rather save it would been Wendy.

@@irfananwar9880 yeah, there are a lot of discussions particularly who were left in the guild after the acnologia incident that they got stronger and got additional members...and with the 7 year gap there were also discussions if there were new guilds popping up (which it does when we reached the new arc during that time)...

It would have be good if it could have be a really different era for the anime. I mean, instead of friendship power who save everything and almost everyone who end up nice, the sacrifice of Makalof would have made the anime better and served to balance in an anime where people can actually die, maybe with even more deaths after this among the importants characters.
